Exception: When the employer can demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems, the employer shall develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502. (a). At building 200 of the Evander Square development, employees installing roof sheeting on a steep roof pitched at 7:12 were exposed to 33 feet fall hazards where the guardrail system being used was not complete in that it did not span the length of the roof.
