29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). a) On or about May 2, 2023, at 6052 Marsh Trail Rd, Odessa, FL, 33556, employees in the process of decking the 2nd story on a 4 in 12 slope (vertical to horizontal) roof, were exposed to fall hazards up to 21 feet, in that, fall protection equipment was not installed or utilized. b) On or about May 2, 2023, at 6056 Marsh Trail Rd, Odessa, FL, 33556, employees installing corner trusses on the first floor on a 4 in 12 slope (vertical to horizontal) roof, were exposed to fall hazards up to 11 feet, in that, fall protection equipment was not installed or utilized. Leonidas Construction Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1553158, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/21/2021 with respect to a workplace located at 6140 Spring Crayfish Ave, Holiday, FL 34692. |
