Complaint What Happened On XX/XX/XXXX I ( Sunday ) submitted an applicAtion for an rv Loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX, on Tuesday XXXXI get a phone call from someone named XXXX with a company called Sago Financial saying that he will be working with me to secure my loan. I told him I didnt apply with his company and he stated he works alongside XXXX XXXX but now is heading up a new lending office called Sago. Im confused but I discuss my mission for purchasing a travel trailer. He instructs me to send copies of my license and paystubs and says he will contact me on Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX I get a call from XXXX with Sago stating hes working with me now so Im doubly confused so I tell him I will get back to him. I phone XXXX XXXX XXXX to ask what is happening bc I applied with them. They finally tell me that I had been denied due to lack of credit history and that they sent my file to Sago because they are the only ones that could or would finance me. I dont understand why they felt it to pass my file without asking me and did they also pass my credit report without my permission.. I decided to give them a chance and call XXXX back and he tells me I am limited to shop at XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX which is quite a distance away so hit them instructs me to go to XXXX XXXX In XXXX and to let him know when I found one. He said they were the only dealership they had a contact with in XXXX. I did locate a trailer that I liked and as of XX/XX/XXXX signed a buyers agreement for $ XXXX and some for the trailer, plus XXXX down and financing approximately XXXX. Suddenly on XX/XX/XXXX I was called by Mr XXXX the salesman at XXXX XXXX. They explain that it was their first time working with one of sagos borrowers bc XXXX XXXX had just signed a contract with sago at some rv show in XXXX XXXX. Mr XXXX says that XXXX the finance manager wants to speak to me. XXXX proceeds to tell me that he can not sell it to me at the buyers agreement amount. Explains that I was the first customer to come in to the dealership and they werent familiar with sagos policies. He then stated that he was not allowed to sell me the rv at the discounted price I had agreed to and instead would sell it to me at the retail market price. I told him I would not sign a new agreement and That it was legal and binding. I then called XXXX with sago to ask about this policy and he pretended to not know a thing. He said he would call XXXX at XXXX XXXX the next day. Then both were ignoring me and not returning my calls. I chose to contact the XXXX XXXX in XXXX and after speaking to XXXX I was told that Sago adds fees and charges for XXXX on up to XXXX and then does not disclose and attempt to hide the charge so the consumer doesnt know what they are paying. I confirmed this with XXXX at XXXX XXXX when I phoned him and told him XXXX denied stipulating the price had to be the retail prices. Which was almost {$5000.00} more And XXXX then told me they were given video recordings and instructed to wAtch them in order to know what terminology to speak to the customer when they start questioning why the charges are changing. Also XXXX with XXXX XXXX stated that he had been trying to get a copy of my credit report bc he would be the one writing the loan. Which doesnt make sense bc sago was my lender. This is so XXXX backwards and unfair
