At the job site, employees working at elevations of 6 feet or more above ground are not protected from fall hazards by the use of a personal fall arrest system. The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on July 15, 2019, when employees doing roof deck installation work on a 5:12 pitch residential home at 9756-9760 Pembroke Pines, Ruskin, FL 33570 without fall protection were exposed to fall hazards of 17 ft.-4in. from the leading edge of the building.
