At the temporary construction worksite, employees working at elevations of six feet or more above the lower level are not protected from fall hazards using fall protection systems: The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on May 23, 2016, as 2 employees are installing roof trusses and framing materials to the right side elevation, second level of a new residential home located at 119 Chivas Lane in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and are not protected from a 26 foot fall hazard by the use of fall protection systems. b. At the temporary construction worksite, an employee working at elevations of six feet or more above the lower level is not protected from fall hazards using fall protection systems: The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on May 23, 2016, when as an employee is installing framing materials to the second level of a new residential home located at 119 Chivas Lane in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and is not protected from a 14 foot fall hazard by the use of fall protection systems. Old Dominion Group Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1240598, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on September 14, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at Emma Grace Lane, Lot 30, in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459. Old Dominion Group Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1160776, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on November 10, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 45 Watersound Lane, Lot 52, in Watersound, Florida 32413. |
