An employee conducting welding activities in the welding area was exposed to a noise dose of 77.6%, or an equivalent dBA (decibels A scale) of 88.17 dBA, which was capable of causing hearing loss. The sampling was performed for 378 minutes during one work shift on August 22, 2012. The employer had not established a hearing conservation program. |
