Citation text line 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: For the Global Boundaries establishment at 1234 Commerce Blvd. S, Sarasota, FL 34243, as observed on or about 11/14/2013, a) Two TIG welder power cables had their outer insulation damaged as they entered an electrical cabinet and the welder. This resulted in strain being placed on the inner conductors. b) Multiple power cords associated with the Eagle Bender had outer insulation damaged and torn away resulting in strain being placed on the inner conductors. Global Boundaires Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 913663, citation number 1, item number 5b and was affirmed as a final order on 09/19/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 1234 Commerce Blvd. South in Sarasota, FL 34243.
