On or about October 5, 2015, at the east, west and south of the building, three employees using air nail guns to install roof shingles were not wearing eye protection, exposing themselves to being struck by flying debris or nails. Specialty Roofers, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 937140, citation 01, item 1, issued on September 10, 2013, with respect to a workplace at 363 Miracle Strip Parkway., Fort Walton Beach, FL, 32547. The final order date was September 25, 2013. |

On or about October 5, 2015, at the east side of the building, an employee installing flashing and shingles on the leading edge of the 7:12 pitch canopy roof was not protected from a 12ft fall hazard by the use of a fall protection system. Specialty Roofers, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 937140, citation 01, item 2, issued on September 10, 2013, with respect to a workplace at 363 Miracle Strip Parkway., Fort Walton Beach, FL, 32547.
