29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels are not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, a personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure as provided by another provision in paragraph (b) of this section: a. Employees working at elevations greater than 6 feet from the ground or lower levels while performing residential framing are not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system. The employer fails to assure effective fall protection against falls as required by the standard as most recently demonstrated on August 23, 2017, on the first floor when framing employees installing trusses were exposed to an eleven feet fall hazard, in that they were not protected by a fall protection system. USA Building Group, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1237340, citation number 01, item number 002, and was affirmed as a final order on June 5, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 2743 Beauclerc Road, Jacksonville, Florida. USA Building Group, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1165091, Repeat Serious citation number 01, item number 001, and was affirmed as a final order on September 19, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 101 Plainview Road, Palm Coast, Florida. USA Building Group, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 481198, Serious citation number 01, item number 001, and was affirmed as a final order on August 24, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 517 Abbotsford Rd, St Johns, Florida.
