Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about November 21, 2018, at 250 Pompano Beach Blvd, Pompano Beach Pompano Beach, FL, 33060, an employee performing framing work without the use of fall protection was exposed to a 35-ft. fall hazard. City Concrete Systems Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 982826, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/25/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 8417 Sierra Meadows Blvd Naples, FL 34104. |
