29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. a) For employees working at 2113 Reynolds Street in Sarasota as observed on or about 25 January, 2018. Employees were on the low pitch roof installing new metal roofing. Employees were working on an approximate 2.7:12 pitch roof without a personal fall protection system in use. Employees were exposed to a fall height of approximately 8 feet 3.5inches. Solar Roof Solutions Inc. was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1155699, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/10/2016 as a Repeat violation, with respect to a workplace located at 1500 Seagull Dr, Palm Harbor, FL 34685.
