Citation text line 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): Employees installing roof trusses at elevations up to 18 feet above the ground are not being protected from fall hazard by a fall protection system. The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on May 13, 2016, when employees installing roof trusses on an 8:12 pitch at 242 Atlas Drive, St. Augustine, FL were exposed up to an 18 feet fall hazard above the ground in that they did not have fall protection systems installed. Cinega Custom Framing and Design, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315483453, citation number 01, item number 001a and was affirmed as a final order on February 21, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 148 Castlegate Lane, Jacksonville, FL 3259.
