29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, a personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure as provided by another provision in paragraph (b) of this section: a. On or about July 4, 2018, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while performing roofing work, in that, they were not using fall protection. The employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 17 feet. The John McCary General Contractor, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1166833, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/27/17, with respect to a workplace located at 10768 Brown Trout Circle, Orlando, FL 32815. The John McCary General Contractor, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1227260, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 8/3/17, with respect to a workplace located at 3603 Cardinal Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32118. |
