Complaint What Happened I had a schedule closing on my property on XXXX XXXX, 2017, but the buyer wished to close on the XXXX, 2017 instead. Even though this was a day neither me or my realtor could attend closing. I left the state on XXXX XXXX, and was able to sign the closing then. I had a closing date of XXXX XXXX because I was buying another property in Florida, and needed my loan to be closed in the beginning of XXXX, but being promised that the property would be closed on XXXX XXXX, I went ahead and accepted the new closing date. On closing date, XXXX XXXX, the buyer showed up and didnt have all his documents ready, and asked to get a few more days to be able to collect all these. The buyer requested XXXX XXXX, 2017, but it actually didnt close to XXXX XXXX, 2017. And for that to happened I had to pay out of pocket to overnight a document to the closing agent, and this was {$54.00}, I was promised by the buyers loan consultant, XXXX XXXX XXXX NMLS : XXXX phone number XXXX, that I would get reimbursed for this cost. I accepted these conditions because I was also promised that my per diem from the original closing date was going to be paid for during the extra time, plus a {$100.00} gift card. These promises were put into an addendum for my property closing contract. It is now XXXX XXXX, almost three months since closing date, and I still havent received anything from the buyers lending office ( American Liberty Mortgage, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CO XXXX ) .Me and my realtor have contacted the office about this and tried to figure out what is going on. They have told both of us that they are taking care of the matter, but they still have not done anything about it. I contacted the owner ( XXXX XXXX phone number XXXX ) on XXXX XXXX for the company and he said that he talked to XXXX XXXX and told him to fix the matter that same day. Nothing was accomplished so we contacted the owner again the day after and told him about our dissatisfaction in his company and employee. We have n't heard anything back since then. They have treated us really unprofessional, and XXXX XXXX has been really rude in emails to my realtor. Something that should have been handled on the closing date of the property, has now been taking almost three months and still have n't been handled. This is outrageous for a loan company, and very bad customer service.

Complaint What Happened In XXXX American Liberty Mortgage messed up my opportunity to buy a home. The owner XXXX XXXX provided information to an employee, XXXX, and then went on vacation. She gave the wrong information about how to do an approval for a XXXX loan and stated they only needed one year 's tax return because I had a business for 10 years. They pre-approved me for the wrong amount and pulled my credit about 5 times. I got a home under contract and paid for the home inspection. Then they came back and told me they had to take the average of 2 years tax returns instead and the new pre-approval amount 'killed the deal ' so I could not buy the house and had to find a way out of the contract. Since they had pulled my credit score so many times it made my score go down a lot and I could not buy a house for about 2 years.

Complaint What Happened This company pre-approved me for the wrong amount because XXXX did not know the rules for USDA for small business owners. She took only one last year 's tax return to calculate when they require the average of two years before letting me know she was going on vacation on her anniversary cruise and XXXX would be helping me. XXXX found the rules and called them and then it 'killed the deal ' on the contract I had executed. They then pulled my credit so many times it killed my credit score also and gave me bad advice to sell my car and buy a different one, etc. I also felt some staff were rude and discriminatory on due to that I was a single woman, which was documented in an email. The owner of the home was a realtor and I found it online so I did not use the other realtor for the prior home I had looked at that was not 'approved ' anyway for the mortgage by them. The contract was executed on XX/XX/2022 and they had sent one 'wrong ' approval prior and then a different one after that as well. And I did have some money down, about {$5000.00} plus I was selling a boat at about XXXX, which I did sell, and land at about {$25000.00}.

Complaint What Happened In 2016 I was applying for a loan in XXXX XXXX Fl I had a very bad experience with XXXX XXXX XXXX He turned me down in the worst way possible like I was a criminal or something. My credit score was a XXXX and I needed to pay off a few credit cards which took me a month so it could show on my next statement. I would stop by periodically just to check on things. The next time he pulled my credit score it was a XXXX and he wanted me at a XXXX. He looked at me and said dont come back Im done with you. Your not going to get there and Im not working with you anymore. I felt crushed discriminated against. Is that some way to talk to a customer? Or was I look at as a customer? I dont think I was a customer but I felt bad like I had done something terrible it wasnt my fault. I just feel like you cant talk to a person like that especially in a professional place like American Liberty.
