At the Emerald Isle Resort Condominium Association, Inc. property, on or about August 26, 2020, the employer had not developed, implemented or maintained a written hazard communication program which consists of SDS sheets, labeling of the chemicals and employee training. Employees used various chemicals daily such as but not limited to: Chlorinated tablets, free style stabilizers, muratic acid, WD-40, Round-Up, Ortho Home defense, spray paint and Sodium bicarbonate, exposed to blindness, respiratory issues and irritation to the eyes.
