I have had issues with this company since they brought my loan from the original lender. My vehicle was repo on or around XX/XX/XXXX. At that time I was 3 months behind a total of {$870.00} plus late fees of {$44.00} which was a grand total of {$920.00}. They advised to get the vehicle back I had to pay {$1200.00}, which includes their fees. I paid the {$1200.00} on XX/XX/XXXX via XXXX. I called back to obtain the information to go pick up my vehicle they then told me that I had to pay an additional XXXX for payments because it was close to my due date. I paid that as well. I called back to find the location of my vehicle to pick then they provide me with a recovery number. I called the recovery company and had to pay them {$470.00} just to be told I had to pay the lot where the vehicle was stored an additional XXXX cash. I paid that as well. Paying all those fees and the additional XXXX should have brought my acct to current Due for XXXX since I paid the XXXX which would have covered XXXX. Well that wasn't the case. 7 days later I received a call advised payment for XXXX was due. At that time I asked what the other {$250.00} I paid covered and as of this day I have not received a response. Well, here it is I made my XXXX payment on XX/XX/XXXX, which was due on XX/XX/XXXX, after I made the payment the next day I received a call saying the payment was {$140.00} short. I asked why and they only could tell me that's what I owed. I pulled up the online payment history and I was charged a REPO RECOVERY FEE.. applied on XX/XX/XXXX, which I made the XXXX payment on XX/XX/XXXX, and was never told I had any additional fees. I immediately called and spoke with XXXX who advised me that they are able to charge me a repo fee if the payments are not made on time. I asked how are you charging me a repo fee of {$120.00} and the payment was not in default but only late. She advised me per my contract they can charge me any fees if the payment is not paid on the due date. I asked them to send me a copy of the contract they had because I do not have this in my contract. She forward me a copy of the contract and called back stating did I read the default portion. I advised yes I did and they doesn't say default is 1 day after the due date. Why would you have late fees if you are able to charge additional recovery fees just one day after the due date. I advised I have not received such fees before as I rarely pay on the due date, that I ONLY have late fees assessed. I advised her that I didn't agree and the loan was not in default. I advised I have made my contractual payment of {$290.00} plus the late fee amount 12 days after the due date not 30. I also advised for her to send me this explanation in writing. I have not received the explanation as of yet. I also advised her that Per the FDCPA, Default occurs 30 days after the due date has past. She continually stated that's its a valid fee, gave no explanation of the additional recovery fees back in XXXX and why payment was not due for XXXX after paying the additional XXXX. I have also not received a breakdown of where the funds were applied to. I have only been directed to the online payment center which only shows payment posted that I have made as monthly payments but not where the fees were applied to. I have also sent an email to her and her manager and have not received a response ; However they have called me at least 2x a day to advised I need to pay the XXXX or they have threaten repo. I have advised by law I have paid my monthly payment and they can not repo my vehicle for not paying erroneous fees. Please help me as this company is once again trying to take advantage of their consumers.I feel as thou I have allowed the water to run under the bridge concerning all the fees I had to pay over {$2100.00} for being {$920.00} behind without any accounting explanation. I feel if I continue to allow this every month they are going to be some type of erroneous billing.

I went to a buy here pay here place got a XXXX XXXX XXXX and the finance company is Strategic Automotive servicing. I was making bi-weekly payments and one point I was having financial diffculties I was not making as many hours due to covid then my wife had XXXX was out of work for XXXX -XXXX XXXX. So I called in XXXX asked a rep if I can make monthly payments she said Yes. I made a payment for a month and have been making payments like that ever since. But every week I get calls from them stating I owe them money and I can not pay once a month because I signed a bi-weekly contract. I explain that is not what I was told. I ask did you look at thge notes they respond yes I see the notes about the monthly payment but you can not do that. I have been paying monthly. So on XXXX XXXX I get a call saying XXXX cancelled my insurance and they was going to put insurance on the car. I said OK. Then on XXXX XXXX at XXXX am a recovery truck comes to repo the car.I called them on XXXX when they opened and asked why the car was repossed? Everytime they call they I say the same thing I will make my payment on the 2rd week of my pay hopefully it will fall on the XXXX. Then they kept saying I owed {$830.00} I kept asking where is this number coming from. I was told because certain months have 5 weeks I have to pay the extra weeks of the year. I said that does not make sense if I pay once a month. On the XXXX after I asked them to send me bill because I have never received a monthly statement. XXXX said I had to make that {$830.00} payment in order to get a payment history. After I mentioned the CFPB she sent it to my email. I sent the {$830.00} to a XXXX XXXX XXXX strategicautomotive. Went to XXXX XXXX to get the car back so I waited Strategic to send over the paperwork to recover the car. The receptionist called them they told her to tell me I also needed to pay the repo fee so the rep said Oh NO you tell the cust that so she handed me the phone and the rep said that to me. I asked for the manager he got on the phone said he will not pay the repo fee. I said I will not pay it. The owner of XXXX XXXXy said customer never pay us that fee. Strategic is who called me to pick the car up not the customer. I left without retrieving the car. Strategic sent me letter XXXX XXXX stating they will be selling the car on the XXXX and if they sell the car for less then the price I am responsible if they get more they will get all the fees that has accured and send me the rest. I was making payments not sure why they repo the car then when I tried to retrieve the car they tried to make me pay more money for a service they are responsible for.

This is my 3rd complaint with this company. The continued to report incorrectly on my report and I never received the credit of {$120.00} as per response from complaint XXXX. I went ahead and paid my last payment in XX/XX/2019 which did not exclude the {$120.00} credit which was never applied to the loan. I paid the amount given by the rep to end this nightmare and receive my title. I received a call back in XXXX advising I still owed $ XXXX because of late fees. I explained to the rep I should NOT have any balances as I paid what I was told and I never received the {$120.00} credit. I advised which they owe me {$120.00}. I told her to minus the $ XXXX from the {$120.00} and send my title. She advised no, I need to pay. I declined. I have spoke to several people who of course told me they are no longer allowed to email me because I use those emails as documentations against the company. They have refused to send me a payment history. They have refused to allow any of my request to send my title.
They are now harassing my ex husbands family which I never had ties with. They call my mom and brother daily. On last Thursday, I spoke with a rep who I at least listened to the situation. I faxed over the documentation showing that the {$120.00} was suppose to be removed and it wasn't. Haven't heard anything back but received a collection phone call on yesterday advising collection attempt.
Every month we have went through the same round about. It is very crazy that I have paid all funds and they are holding my title for now $ XXXX.
No one would provide a manager name, address, email address or phone number. At this point they are attempting to collect a debt that is no longer a debt and harassing my family members.
I would like to have my title and the {$120.00} that was never applied to my account ; as this loan is paid in full. My credit history reported correctly as asked back in complaint XXXX.

I purchased a vehicle from XXXX here in XXXX, Florida. I was made aware by Strategic Automotive Servicing they would start taking payments on behalf of XXXX beginning in XXXX 2017. I asked for documentation showing they will subservice my loan as of today I have not received any documentations. I also asked for documentation showing the loan amount which was n't correct as well.
My loan payment is due the XXXX of every month I normally paid my loan towards the end of the month. After receiving emails from one of the representative I advised that I normally pay before the loan before it becomes delinquent.
The XX/XX/XXXXpayment was paid on XX/XX/2017 which is 29 days after my due date. I received an email from representative advising my loan was in default because I did not pay the late fee. I responded back advising I should not have a delinquent payment because the late fee was not paid. I also noted that this should not be reported on my credit report as I was in the middle of trying to obtain a lower interest rate from my mortgage company and I paid the amount in my contract which was XXXX. I did not receive a response.
Towards the end of XX/XX/XXXX, I applied for a refinance for my home loan. It was discovered that Strategic reported me 31-60 days late on my credit report in XXXX 2017. I called and was told they report the XXXX of every month and if the payments are not paid in full then its reported late to the credit bureau. I advised this is against the Fair Reporting Act.15 U.S.C. 1681. And they are violating 623 section 3 and 8. I was told to send an email with my concerns to the email box " contact us '' on their home page.
I sent an email and did not hear anything back from them. I called on XX/XX/XXXX, regarding the late payment reports. The supervisor advised me that they have a right to report late payments if the payments are not paid by the XXXX because they report on the XXXX. I explained my payments are due on the XXXX of every month and I have never paid 31 days late. I asked for a copy of my loan agreement and he said it did n't matter because they purchased the loan. I advised purchasing the loan does n't change any terms. I asked for the contract showing my signature that changed the terms of my loan. He advised to dispute with credit agency.
I asked for the CEO or Owner to write a letter and he would only give me a first name and a partial address. I asked for their business license information to operate in the state of Florida and he would n't provide. I advised this is violating my rights to dispute inaccurate information and they are willing and knowing reporting incorrectly. He would n't address the my concerns and advised to write in.
I tried looking this company up on the business license website and shows their business license for Strategic Automotive Servicing LLC, License type, Consumer Collection Agency, was withdrawn. I contacted our State Business office and was advised Strategic Automotive Servicing does n't have a license for Florida. She located a company with a similar name which was a dealers license, no license to auto servicing loans.
I was able to refinance my home loan however this late caused my credit score to drop and thus caused my interest rate to be higher than it should have been. This issue has caused un-needed stress trying to correct this incorrect reporting. I am able to refinance again in 6 months however this need to be corrected.
