Capital link and management has phoned my number repetitively, 3 times today alone leaving intimidating messages on my answering machine beginning at XXXX XXXX for a XXXX XXXX, although being told they have the wrong number this has continued. The number is XXXX. After contacting them 3 times today they are telling me there is nothing they can do, unacceptable!

Received a text message stating Hello, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX needs a statement on behalf of you or your legal representative. Please Call XXXX using claim # XXXX,. Thank You XXXX If you wish to no longer receive text messages, please reply STOP. Upon searching XXXX it appears to be a debt collection company called Capital Link Management. Verified phone number on website. They have also been calling me and leaving voicemails stating This message is in regards to a legally required notice we need to speak with you immediately to confirm location information please press one to speak with a representative. They are asking for my location and this concerns me. I have attached a photo of the text message which doesnt state they are a debt collector and the voicemail they continuously leave me when they call.

I received a call today ( XXXX XXXX ) from CLM collection agency for a young woman ( XXXX XXXX ) who lives at the same address as me. I have no responsibility or involvement in her finances. I forwarded the message to her ( screenshot of the voice mail transcript ). She called the number given ( XXXX ) and was told they have a right to call me about her situation because we have the same address. This doesnt seem right to either her or me. Is that a permissable tactic? If not, please lodge my complaint against that company.

My daughter contacted me saying that a debt collector contacted her and my ex-wife, after they have never tried to reach out to me. The collection agent gave them detailed information about my debt and full story behind it, as well as names of parties involved, amounts owed as well as dates and other details. I contacted the company XXXX Capital Link Management LLC ) and spoke to an agent who was very unprofessional right from the start making threats of arrest and lawsuits. I recorded the conversation where he also threatened me saying he has access to my social media and will reach out to family and friends. I kept asking if it was legal for him to give out my information and details of my debt to a third party and he insisted that it is legal to do whatever it takes for them to collect. A second agent also said that my daughter claimed she was my employee and it was legal for them to give out the detailed information of my debt. My debt involved a check that was given to me by a client for services provided. I cashed the check at a check cashing business and that check later came back as insufficient funds. They are unable to collect from the issuer so they are coming after me.
Capital Link Management llc is acting like they are attorneys and police making threats and acting unprofessional. They have terrible reviews on XXXX and will do anything to collect even if it involves breaking the law and regulations

A deb collector sent a debt that I owe to them to my father in-laws girlfriends number who does not live with me. We have no ties or connections whatsoever. In that text they wrote who was the company that was trying to collect the debt and the amount that is owedalong with my name. I save the screenshot and number of the company. Capital link management is who they call themselves. Very unprofessional.
