Complaint What Happened	I initially received a written demand for payment from ZenResolve, located at XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, AZ, XXXX, stating that I owned a debt in the amount of {$1800.00} to XXXX XXXX and they they were hired to collect the debt. I did not take a loan with XXXX XXXX or any other lender for the requested amount and have no other loan debts other than my home mortgage and auto loan. Simply put, I never borrowed the money that ZenResolve said that I owed. I promptly called and then sent a letter to ZenRolve telling them that the debt was not mine and asking for copies of the purported loan documents. Shortly thereafter, ZenResolve sent me a letter setting forth " payment history on the account using your banking information with XXXX XXXX ending in XXXX '' along with purported loan documents. The purported loan documents contain my name and address along with email address and telephone number. The purported lender which is " XXXX, XXXX d/b/a XXXX XXXX, an economic development arm of, instrumentality of, and a limited liability company wholly-owned and controlled by the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ... '' A copy of then letter and purported loan documents are attached. I have never had any account at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The telephone number and email address stated on the purported loan documents as mine are incorrect. The loan documents contain no information about me that is not readily available from the property appraiser 's website. The loan documents are unsigned and only contain my typed name. Finally, I have never heard of nor had any business dealings with XXXX, XXXX XXXX or the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I contacted ZenResolve and raised the following points. They did not affirmatively say that they would stop calling me at work and mailing me payment demands. They did however tell me that they do not report their debts to " collection agencies '' and that the debts they seek to collect to not appear on credit searches. This is very strange since their actual business is debt collection. Also, I can not think of a reason why a legitimate lender would not report a delinquent debt in a manner that would be reflected on my credit search. I believe that ZenResolve and/or XXXX XXXX are engaged in a fraudulent collection scheme where they fabricate loan documents based upon information readily obtained via public records and try to pressure people into making payment.
