Complaint What Happened Capio Partners at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX sent a letter I owed a debt from a collection agency. Complaint What Happened I was admitted into the hospital for XXXX while having medical insurance, which then was diagnosed with a condition due to them giving me too much antibiotics causing me to stay longer. The hospital never informed me that I could get financial assistance if I could not pay the remainder and now its too late. Soon after, I was unemployed and now Im being harassed by the Collection Agency. Per 15 USC 1692c ( c ) I would like to have this removed from my credit report.

Complaint What Happened ASSETCARE LLC and XXXX XXXX have made numerous amounts of debts on my credit. I have had to dispute them time and time again. It's getting to the point that I don't know if someone is stealing my identity or if they are doing it on purpose. Every time I dispute it another pops up from them. Complaint What Happened Hello. I had a medical bill sent to me about XXXX years after service. I'm not paying so they sent me to collections. Which in turn hurt my credit score. Fine! XXXX. Now they sold my debt again and sent me to collections for the same bill TWICE! So now I have 2 hits on my credit score by 2 different collection companies for the same bill/amount. This can't be right.

Complaint What Happened I had XXXX XXXX in XXXX of 2022. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX insurance plan clearly states I have a {$100.00} copay. The morning of my XXXX when I checked in, I paid the {$100.00} copay. I have the receipt. It is also on my bank statement. The medical provider referred me to collections. Complaint What Happened Capio is a bottom feeder collection agency that buys debt that was already proven not to be yours & they buy it with hope of bullying you into paying a debt that you do not owe. I was contacted by Capio XXXX XXXX about a hospital bill that I did not owe. The previous company that had this debt XXXX soloution was sent information from both my XXXX XXXX company Primary & Secondary that proves I have no outstanding bills or outstanding co payments. The then sold it to another company because they couldnt collect on it. I wrote a letter to then stating that I dont owe any outstanding hospital bill & they reply that they have close that account & return to client. Being the desperate company that Capio is they wrote me another letter XXXX XXXX Stating that I owe another bill for a different amount {$200.00} I then contact both Insurance company again & They contact the hospital that are stating the bill generated from & was proven I owe no hospital bill from the date they are stating. I wrote a reply certified letter after our investigation on XX/XX/2022 I ask the company if I owe them please provide me with the original bill & a breakdown of how they came up the the amount that they are claiming I owe them. Anyone can write a letter with an amount on the company letter head saying that someone owe them but the much provide supporting documentation. The company did not reply to my letter for validation of the debt. What they did was put it on my credit with no proof of me owning the hospital bill.

Complaint What Happened I have attempted numerous times to explain to Capio that I had paid this balance, and my college told me I had to call and pay them. I paid the balance twice, and Capio also verbally told me on the phone that they would remove from credit reporting once paid. Now that my college has a payment tracking system online, I was finally able to obtain a receipt of the payment to the original creditor. With this now being received, I am hoping they will finally remove this account from my credit reports.
