Citation text line 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. On or about June 14, 2023, on the northeast side of the wall: employees were exposed to an approximate 40 foot fall hazard while working from the top level of the building, in that, fall protection was not used. b. On or about June 14, 2023, on the northeast side of the wall: employees were exposed to an approximate 40 foot fall hazard while laying brick from the top level of the building while on a scaffold approximately 48 inches in height, in that, fall protection was not used. c. On or about June 14, 2023, in the center of the building: an employee was exposed to an approximate 10 foot fall hazard while working from the top level of the building, in that, fall protection was not used.
