29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about September 6, 2017: two employees were observed on the roof trusses at the back of the house cutting the ends of the trusses to install the fascia and were not protected by guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure, the employees were exposed to a 12-feet fall hazard. b) On or about September 6, 2017: two employees were observed on the roof trusses at the peak of the house installing wood elements on trusses and were not protected by guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure, the employees were exposed to a 16-feet fall hazard. Hernandez Drywall, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1229379, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 17, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 128 Paradise Valley Drive Ponte Vedra, FL 32081. Hernandez Drywall, LLC previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1224639, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 20, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 88 Miranda Place Saint Johns, FL 32259. |
