29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): On or about 07/05/19, at 2750 West Golf Boulevard, Pompano Beach, Florida, employees were exposed to an approximately 20-foot fall hazard while engaged in roofing work without a means of fall protection. Vala Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1363306, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 07/09/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 9891 NW 43rd Terrace, Doral, Florida, 33178. |

Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. On or about November 30, 2018, at the worksite located at 9891 NW 43rd Terrace, Doral, Florida 33178, an employee while removing roofing tiles on a low-slope roof did not have a means of fall protection and was exposed to a fall hazard of 17 feet 2 inches to the concrete patio floor below the edge of the roof. |
