Citation text line | 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about 07/27/2021, on the roof of a new residential property located at 8321 Paragrass Ave. Viera, FL, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet while securing the trousers on the front roof, in that he was not attached to a personal fall protection system nor provided with any other means of fall protection. b) On or about 07/27/2021, on the roof of a new residential property located at 8331 Paragrass Ave. Viera, FL, two employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet while installing black waterproof paper on the roof, in that they not attached to a personal fall protection system nor provided with any other means of fall protection. |
