29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b) of this section: a. Employees performing framing work from a 6:12 pitch roof are not being protected from 9 feet 6 inches fall hazards by a fall protection system. The employer routinely fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on June 28, 2018, when employees are sheathing a roof of a one-story residential building at 3630 Cedar Park Lane, Panama City, Florida without fall protections and are exposed to fall hazard of 9 feet 6 inch above the surrounding ground.
