Citation text line 29 CFR 1926.502(k)(6): The fall protection plan did not include a written discussion of other measures that will be taken to reduce or eliminate the fall hazard for workers who cannot be provided with protection from the conventional fall protection systems. For example, the employer shall discuss the extent to which scaffolds, ladders, or vehicle mounted work platforms can be used to provide a safer working surface and thereby reduce the hazard of falling. a) At the job site, the fall protection plan did not consider other alternative fall protection systems criteria and practices such as but not limited to the use scissor lifts or booms, bracket scaffolding attached to the inside or outside of the exterior walls, spreader bars attached to roof trusses, work practices (completing truss sections, erecting and sheeting a series of trusses on the ground and then lifting the unit into place with a crane) to minimize the risk of falls while employees were erecting wood trusses and exposed to fall hazard of approximately 40 feet on or about 01/21/2016.

B) At the job site, employees erecting wood trusses exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 40 feet.
