Complaint What Happened Signed up over the phone around XX/XX/XXXX. On the phone we agreed that I would deposit {$1100.00} monthly to for debt settlements. On the phone we agreed to $ 100 monthly retainer fee. On the phone agreed to {$10.00} monthly fee. After my first deposit posted on XX/XX/XXXX, they additionally would charge a " Service Fee '' of {$800.00}, and a " Admin Fee '' of {$99.00}. These actions continued through the month of XX/XX/XXXX, until I heard about a lawsuit against them in XX/XX/XXXX, and decided to cancel with them. I asked them to not include the " Service Fee '' and " Admin Fee '' for each month ( {$6300.00} total ) in refunding my deposited money, and they refused. They're saying the additional " Service Fee '' and " Admin Fee '' for each month were written in the contract I signed. On the phone during signup, I was told that if I decide to cancel after some months, I would only owe the total of the $ 100 monthly retainer fees and {$10.00} monthly fee, and they would refund the rest of my deposited money minus the $ 100 monthly retainer fees and $ 10 monthly fee. It is clear that they're blatantly lying over the phone call just to get you to sign the contract. I asked for the recordings of the signup phone calls and they said they don't give them to clients. If they would have clearly explained on the phone that out of my {$1100.00} monthly deposit, they would " steal '' {$900.00} of it, I nor anyone else would ever signup with them. They're strategy is to say one thing over the phone, then hope the consumer doesn't read through and understand every line of the super long contract that they have you sign in person. In the approximated 7 months I was with them, they did not settle a single debt. On the phone I was told they would only get paid 25 % of the settled debt amount for each specific debt. They owe {$6300.00} total for the " Service Fees '' and " Admin Fees '' that they didn't explain during the signup phone call.
