Complaint What Happened	On XXXX XXXX this terrible horror started started and spanned over the course of 4 weeks. I was spending some time with my family when out of the blue some guy named XXXX XXXX calls me. He claims to be some type of loan officer assistant whatever that is and tells me that my mortgage through XXXX XXXX XXXX is going to be at a interest rate of 1.75 % going forward and I wouldnt have to make a payment for 2 months he also said that I would get back XXXX as some type of refund. What really bothered me is that he promised me I would get a 1.75 % interest rate and then sent me paperwork saying I would only get down to a 3.50 % from a 4 % and have a 30 year loan even though I was told it would be the payments remaining on my loan. After I got the paperwork a man named XXXX XXXX all but forced me to sign the papers claiming that the interest rate effectively was 1.75 % which was a lie. Things get worse from here. Originally I was told there was no cost to do this loan. The first time his company equifund was charging me XXXX for the loan. A week later he tells me that the only lender that will take my loan is some new company and their fee increased to XXXX for the same interest rate. I asked another loan company if there was a reason I could only use one bank and they told me that he did this because they pay him more money than the other guys So he tried to force me to get the loan from them. At this point I told him I was not interested anymore and asked how much money I have to pay to cancel. At first he told me I could not back out because I signed the disclosures and have to go through with the loan. Once I told him that I will not pay a single mortgage payment he said that I can send a cashiers check for XXXX to him as a cancelation fee and they will change my mortgage back to what I had. Turns out after I sent the cashiers check I did some research and found out I could cancel at any time. It was too late by then he already cashed the check. I have tried calling them for the past 3 weeks and they block my number. One time the guy XXXX answered and said he would get me a interest rate of 1 % and then When I said I was not going to take any loan from them he called me a dumba** for not wanting to save money. These guys have made me realize that theres really no good people left. I still have no idea if I have my old mortgage and am scared to make a payment and they wont tell me anything. Can someone explain to me what is going on? I fought in two wars for this country XXXX dont deserve to be treated like this.
