Employees installing stucco at elevations of six feet or more above the ground are not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system. The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on November 4, 2015, on the 6:12 pitch roof over the garage, an employee placing a protective tarp was exposed to a 10 feet fall hazard from the eave, and on the 6:12 second story roof above the front entrance, an employee placing a protective tarp was exposed to a 20 feet fall hazard from the eave in that they were not protected by any fall protection systems. Orquicely Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1042322, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on May 12, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 23 Forest Edge Dr, Saint Johns, Florida.
