Citation text line 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) For the belt installation and adjustment work done on the Power screen Warrior 1800, on or about 01/12/2023, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards, in that, employees performed maintenance work on equipment such as, but not limited to, the Warrior 1800, changing belts, working on bearings and working on hydraulic lines. Energy control procedures were not developed, documented and implemented. Hazardous energy existed in the form of high pressure hydraulic lines and powered mechanical moving parts.
