Employees performing decking at elevations up to 25 feet or more above the ground are not protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system. The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on February 29, 2016, when employees installing truss bracing and decking on a 6:12 pitch residential home located at 4904 SW 58th Place, Ocala, FL are exposed up to a 25 feet fall hazards in that they are not protected by a fall protection system.
