Citation text line | 29 CFR 1926.300(b)(5): Fan blade guards had openings larger than one-half inch (1.27 cm): a) At the site - employees were exposed to an amputation hazard from the slab saw (model FS4600), in that, the fan cover openings were approximately 27/32 (.84375) inches wide. Employees were exposed to the fan when connecting a light to the battery located 1.5" in front of the fan. This violation was discovered on or about April 8, 2015. |
