29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): a. On or about July 2, 2018, in the fabrication area, the employer failed to developed or implemented a written hazard communication program for the protection of the employees, which describes how the requirements for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met, and the methods the employer will use to inform employees of the hazards of non-routine tasks who uses chemicals. Employees are exposed to hazardous chemicals used and stored in the workplace including Acetone, "Tenax - Ager Tiger", "Tenax - Pectro" and "Blaster - Penetrating catalyst". SNAA LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1251097, citation number 1, item number3 and was affirmed as a final order on December 12, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 3811 University Boulevard West, Unit No. 16 and 18, Jacksonville, Florida. |

On or about August 31, 2017, in the fabrication area, an electrical box with a Yaskawa J1000 VF Drive used to power a "Magnum 5" wet stone router was hung from a 2x4 piece of lumber on a hand car instead of installed securely on a wall or other building's structure. If the cart and box fall onto the wet floor and the VF Drive or the conductors are damaged or disconnected, a fault could occur and the box and floor could become energized, exposing the employees to electrical energy and suffer an electrical shock. |
