For the last 45 days, I have received no less than XXXX calls a day from various phone numbers from XXXX. Multiple voicemails are received and ask to return the call to the number on the caller ID. I called and " Summit Receivables '' answers. I asked for reference and they stated me " questioning the debt or asking for validation would reset the statute of limitations. '' I asked for clarification and then to please stop calling my numbers. The agents response was " you're being referred to legal '' then hung up. I continue to receive multiple calls a day from random numbers.

Ive asked repeatedly that Summit Receivables send me a written mail notification of my debt. They said they will email but not send me any written mail since it takes time they do not have. I told them I can not do anything without a written letter of my debt. They claim the email is enough and by law they dont have to send me anything.

I have received calls for many months on my home phone. I generally block these calls, however, on one occasion, I spoke with the representative of the company claiming to be XXXX ( when I asked what that stood for, he said " nothing. ) '' He then started quoting my personal information, social, date of birth, etc. I would not confirm that this was my information. These calls were made during the months of XXXX, XXXX of XXXX on multiple dates.
I returned one call, and another person answered and asked. " Are you aware you are being sued? '' I said no. She stated that I had a XXXX XXXX bank loan from XXXX XXXX which I had not paid. She stated that I could settle the claim by paying her {$200.00} by credit card. I have never banked with any such institution. The phone numbers used were XXXX and XXXX. I feel that this was a result of identity theft. In XXXX of XXXX, someone had stolen my identity and tried to borrow {$4000.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX in my name. I have an agency that monitors my credit and was able to stop the loan. I filed a police report. The matter was resolved. They ( identity thieves ) only had some of my information.
I have frozen my credit and issued fraud alerts to the credit agencies.
Starting on XXXX XXXX, then XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) ; I began receiving calls from Summit Receivables. When I looked them up on line, like, XXXX, they were referred to as scammers trying to collect debt. One person was XXXX, another was XXXX XXXX, Department Manager. He stated this may or may not concern you. They also state that this is a courtesy call and that I must call to resolve the matter. Again, I have excellent credit but someone has either stolen my info and borrowed money in my name. But these do not show up on my credit reports. I get calls almost daily from multiple XXXX numbers but the call back number is the same, XXXX.

XXXX XXXX contacted me about a debt they stayed I owed. I informed them I needed to see where I owed this money in writing. They instead sent a payment arrangement to my email. They threatened me by stating my account was going into proceedings back in XX/XX/XXXX and I only had less than a week to make this arrangement. Here it is XX/XX/XXXX and they are calling using the same tactics. They called my place of business and I sent an email to them on XX/XX/XXXX staying Im not allowed to receive correspondence at my work. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from XXXX XXXX stating they sent an employee verification form to the school where Im housed and telling me I had a meltdown about it. I am not employed by the school but housed in their facilities. So at this point, they are reaching out to an entity that is not my place of employment trying to get information about me. I have copies of emails and voicemails ( that are also transcribed ) of our communications if needed.

Today XX/XX/2019 I received yet another call at work from summit receivables. He did not identify himself by name. Asked for me and then proceeded to list my date of birth and to tell me that I owed them money, when I told him I was not allowed to receive calls at work and that if it continued I would report them to the state attorney general and the CFPB AGAIN since I have not received anything in writing regarding this alleged debt, he laughed and told me to go ahead because maam you dont understand that were coming after you I submitted a previous complaint on XX/XX/2019 and you have yet to receive a response from this company

Today, XX/XX/2019, XXXX from Summit Receivables contacted my work phone number. A co-worker who is now in that position answered the call. When XXXX asked for me, my co-worker explained that I am no longer in that department. XXXX said that she was from Summit Receivables and this was an attempt to collect a debt. She told her that the call was being recorded. My co-worker looked up my new phone number to transfer the call. I do not know who the original debtor is or what is owed. I am furious that I would be embarrassed at my place of employment by speaking to someone other than me.

On XX/XX/2019 XXXX called my husband and my place of employment. Stated to both that she needed to get in touch with me regarding time sensitive documents regarding my property and to verify my employment. When my employer refused to provide information she became combative and HR told her to fax her request for information. My husband told her he knew she was scamming him because our mortgage is paid and she spoofed the number she was calling from. She called from XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and left a number XXXX-XXXX-XXXX to call back and that is summit receivables. nothing to do with my mortgage.

This is a debt ALREADY PAID YEARS AGO AND XXXX AND THE COLLECTION Business, have not responded or do what they please with the client, I ask to be REMOVED IMMEDIATELY this account of ALL my credit bureaus. This is harassing and XXXX when a debt has been paid in full so long ago, I hope this case is resolved immediately!

Each time that I called, I provided the number that they called and asked that they no longer contact me on that number and that they send any communication with me via writing. They called my cell phone to get a hold of my husband, I called them back asking what it was about and they told me to tell my husband to grow up and pay the bill. They also said that their records indicate me ina " negative light '' and she wanted me to tell my side of the story before putting in her recommendation. They've called me twice and said they were going to take legal action.

Summit Receivables first attempt to collect a debt was with a phone call to me at work. They never called me before or left a message on my personal phone. They left a message with a clerk who could not understand the person. When I called them and asked them why they called me, they told me they are trying to collect a debt. Summit Receivables is trying to collect a debt, yet they hung the phone up on my four times. When I told them to stop calling me at work, they hung the phone up on me.
