Employees were exposed to a 15-foot fall hazard while removing roof tiles over the second floor of a residence without being protected from falling with a conventional fall protection system. Leo Premier Homes LLC dba Leo Roofing & Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1429943, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 25, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2401 PGA Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410 |

You must also consider a case to meet the general recording criteria if it involves a significant injury or illness diagnosed by a physician or other licensed health care professional, even if it does not result in death, days away from work, restricted work or job transfer, medical treatment beyond first aid, or loss of consciousness. (a) On or about October 16, 2023, at 3017 Vincent Road, West Palm Beach Florida, 33405, an employee was exposed to approximately 21-feet 5-inches fall hazard while performing installation work of a skylight without means of fall protection. Employer reported the incident on or about October 13th, 2023. Employer provided OSHA 300 Logs on or about October 27th, 2023, and did not record workplace injuries and illnesses that would be considered to meet the general recording criteria and therefore to be recordable for resulting in days away from work and medical treatment beyond first aid. |
