| Citation text line | 29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge: On or about December 22, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were accessing the first floor of a home under construction by utilizing a cement stairway that had unprotected sides and no stair rail system, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 7 feet and 5 inches to the sand foundation below. |
