Narrative After installing a girder beam in the ESP, all rigging was removed from the crane. The employee was attempting to remove a tag line from the girder beam. He pulled on the rope to see if it was entangled or still tied. The rope broke and the employee fell backwards 10' until his PFAS arrested his fall. During his descent his left foot impacted a walkboard fracturing his left ankle.
