I have contacted the company multiple times and on XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with representative XXXX who stated the account was removed in XXXX and should not be reporting as there is no balance owed for the account # XXXX.
On my credit report, an account # of XXXX with CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING. The creditor ( XXXX ) has confirmed this should not be listed on credit report as no account balance exists

Hello, I cant provide the exact dates because it happened a couple of years ago, I had a XXXX XXXX account, probably around XXXX or XXXX. This account was paid by XXXX XXXX when the Switch to us program was available. I visited a XXXX company back in the days and offered me the promotion of paying the account to switch to them. It is not the first time that XXXX provide the wrong information to me causing me to own money. Before I had to solve owning a phone after it was informed to me that removing that line wouldnt affect me, that situation was fix successfully but now Im dealing with this unpaid account that I wasnt aware of and trusted that it was paid off by XXXXThe information that was provided to me was that this balance was paid off. If a employee made a mistake or misinformed me, I should not be having this reported. Since I am disputing this debt, CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING should not report it to the credit reporting agencies.

According to the FCRA the term Investigate consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information.
They stated my accounts were verified but how is that possible if they did not do a proper investigation according to the law. Also every piece of information on these accounts are still not reporting 100 % accurate. And according to the FCRA 15 USC 1681 everything has to be 100 % accurate. I have the credit reports showing the inaccuracies.

I transferred my phone service from XXXX to another provider in XXXX. I realized the following month that I had not completely canceled because I had another charge come out of my checking account through auto bill pay. So I called XXXX to cancel and prevent that from happening again. I CALLED FOR XXXX MONTHS and could never get anywhere with an employee. I was told a supervisor would call me to sort it out. No one ever called. I kept being told they couldn't do anything in the middle of a cycle and to wait until my next statement came out. No one actually cancelled my service until XXXX months later! The final person I spoke to on the phone in XXXX, informed me that noone had actually cancelled my service yet. They had just un-enrolled me in auto bill pay. He told me my final statement would come out on XX/XX/XXXX and it would reflect no new charges. I NEVER RECEIVED MY BILL IN THE MAIL. I never even received an email.
Instead of a bill, I have received a statement from a debt collector that says I owe XXXX {$600.00}. I TRIED CANCELING FOR XXXX MONTHS.
XXXX deceived me and failed me.

XXXX XXXX Account XXXX On XXXX, A company shown as CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING was reported to my credit report per Credit Report. I have never signed an agreement with this company, and Nore have I ever heard of them. Upon further research, the debitor 's creditor did not verify this collection. Also, there was NO written form of communication/contract or written signature for this accused debt at ALL. A bill without a ( written ) signature does not validate the debt as anybody can send an invoice and say it's mine. According to FCRA, this company has violated my rights as a consumer. I'm looking into taking legal action to remove the fallacious account from my credit report immediately! I wanted to see if my dispute could be resolved by taking all necessary steps before taking drastic action.
