I am not certain that this is a complaint. I am logging this concern in case other people are noticing the same thing. I mailed ( by XXXX ) three payments to three different creditors at the exact same time ( on a day sometime between XX/XX/23 and XXXX ). Two of the creditors received my checks and posted the payments in a timely fashion. However, it's now XX/XX/23, and Commerce Bank ( XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX MO XXXX ) still allegedly has not received my XXXX payment. So I've been fined a {$40.00} late fee, and I have now paid it. I find it strange that this has happened, especially since mine is an account on which Commerce Bank is not likely to make the kind of profit ( from interest and/or cash advances ) that they'd hoped to.

In the XXXX week of XXXX, I received a call from a Commerce Bank Fraud Department Investigator. She called to ask me about charges that she thought might be fraudulent. She asked me about some of them and I told her the ones that were mine and those which were not.
They did an investigation and concluded that they would remove {$230.00} charges but would not remove {$15000.00}. The reason they denied those other charges is because they sent me a text asking me if I tried to make a {$100.00} charge, which I had. Their text did not include the name of the merchant.
I am attaching a more detailed letter.
I have never had a credit card company reject removing fraudulent charges.

Commerce bank the lender for a buyer has required the Seller to transfer ownership in an LLC as a requirement for the Buyers loan prior to the lender funding the transaction. This highly unusual and unprofessional requirement is predatory at best and puts the Seller at unnecessary risk.

Due to the pandemic, I was laid off from my job in XX/XX/2020. I called Commerce Bank at that time to see if they offered any assistance. At that time I was advised of their Covid-19 Payment Assistance Program, which would allow payment assistance for a predetermined amount of time. I was assured there would be no negative reporting to the credit bureaus while in the program. It was in XX/XX/2020 that I started the program. However, in XX/XX/2020, one month into the program, I was reported 30 days late to the credit bureaus. I immediately called for help with this situation. I was referred to a supervisor named XXXX, that never returned my calls. To date I have not returned to work, nor has this been resolved by Commerce Bank. Im very thankful for the program as it has been a tremendous help. I would just like the negative reporting while in the program to be removed.

Subject : Formal Complaint Against Commerce Bank for Non-Response to XXXX XXXX XXXX Claim Hello, I am writing to file a formal complaint against Commerce Bank regarding their failure to respond to a claim initiated by XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX.
We had initially filed a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) claim against XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX due to a pending claim for months and no response whatsoever, outlining the circumstances surrounding our policy cancellation and refund request with XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ). XXXX XXXX XXXX let us know that Commerce Bank was not replying to them whatsoever when they were trying to retrieve our funds so we would like to file a claim against Commerce Bank now. On XX/XX/2023, XXXX XXXX XXXX initiated a claim on our behalf regarding this matter. However, despite repeated attempts and reminders, Commerce Bank has not provided any response to XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX inquiries regarding this claim. XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX is telling us Commerce Bank has been ignoring them for 4 months.
The delay in Commerce Bank 's response has resulted in significant financial strain on our business. Without their cooperation, XXXX XXXX XXXX has been unable to proceed with our claim against XXXX XXXX, leaving us without resolution for unauthorized charges totaling {$3900.00} over multiple months.
We have provided all necessary documentation and cooperation to facilitate the resolution of this issue. However, without Commerce Bank 's response, we are unable to proceed with obtaining the refund we are rightfully owed.
This situation has caused undue hardship for our business, and we urgently request your intervention to expedite the resolution of this matter. It is imperative that Commerce Bank responds promptly to XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX inquiries to ensure accountability and facilitate the refund process.
We appreciate your attention to this matter and kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue as soon as possible.
