Dear Checkr Compliance Team, Thank you for completing a reinvestigation of my background report. However, I still have serious concerns regarding the accuracy and completeness of the information included in the report, as well as its potential impact on my employment opportunities.
1. Accuracy and Identity Verification : I request more detailed information on the procedures Checkr used to verify the accuracy of each record in my report, particularly any records that may have been incorrectly associated with my identity. The FCRA requires consumer reporting agencies to ensure maximum possible accuracy, and without a clear explanation of the verification process, I can not be confident that the reinvestigation fully addressed my concerns.
2. Explanation of Adverse Action Rights : If the Consider status in my report could lead to an adverse action, such as a job denial, I request a clear explanation of my rights to dispute specific records under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), including any next steps I can take to remove inaccurate information.

XXXX ran a background check using Chekr background check service and an old driver license from a different state was shown as SURRENDERED and EXPIRED instead of my current license as submitted by XXXX. This is despite the fact they had the current information. This was reported to XXXX and they suspended my account. I called Checkr to investigate and correct the matter, but they then sent another report that listed both licenses, but the EXPIRED one as the current, so the report was still inaccurate and XXXX will not reinstate my account.
This problem has occurred every year for seven years, each time XXXX ran the background check. Previous calls to correct the problem have not resolved the issue without significant time and effort. The last time, it wasn't corrected for four months.

I have been driving for XXXX full-time for over 2 years and am a highly ranked driver with a 4.99 ranking out of 5.0 with over 6000 riders. I have not been able to access the XXXX platform in 3 WEEKS because of my prior background check expiring while CheckR ( XXXX 's 3rd part background check service provider ), conducts the current background investigation. The company states background checks take 3-5 business days. As per XXXX the driving record part of the investigation is complete but the criminal background check part is still pending after 28 D-A-Y-S and counting?!
I AM NOT A CRIMINAL. I HAVE COMMITTED NO CRIMES. Yet, I am guilty until proven innocent in this bureaucratic process that takes advcantage of the fact that XXXX drivers are " contract workers '' ..
Meanwhile, I have literally lost XXXX $ of dollars of revenue as my XXXX account is suspended waiting for CheckR 's response. I have received no email communications from CheckR requesting any further information. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get ANYONE on the phone let alone have someone EXPLAIN what the hold up is. The only resource is a cookie-cutter FAQ page on their website about what " MIGHT '' be holding up the background check. When you attempt to call it leads to a recorded message that refers you back to their website portal and promptly hangs up on you?!
Meanwhile, I am unable to drive for XXXX OR ANY OTHER COMPANY that uses CheckR as their background company. I am left with NO RECOURSE, NO INCOME, and NO ALTERNATIVES to replace my livelihood as a gig driver!!!

On XX/XX/2019 I applied for a position with the employer XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX they had me consent to a background check. Three days later I received an email from Checkr. They listed a Nole Prossed charge of leaving a scene of an accident and also stated that they have a nine year old charge of driving with a suspended license. So I called Checkr and spoke with XXXX with Checkr and filed a complaint to dispute these issue. I asked XXXX if she knows what Nole Prossed means and she stated No but she works at a background reporting company and is involved with reviewing peoples background reports. That is very scary and neglent. The worse part is damage is already done. They are exposing me to an employer and causing me to look bad. They have those two items on my report with clearly shouldnt be disclosed to any employer.
