Complaint What Happened XXXX XXXX, a debt collector with ASCI - Automated Collections Services, Inc of XXXX TN.- has called me twice in one week on a debt that is not overdue. She called me twice over a debt where the most recent payment was exactly 20 days prior. ( Paid XX/XX/XXXX, called by this representative on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. ) This is outside the 30 day guideline. Furthermore she was rude in her tone to me and stated that ASCI has not " heard from me since XXXX. '' ( This is on XX/XX/XXXX ). I told her that yes, that made perfect sense ; because I paid them in XXXX and now it's XXXX. But she seemed unable or unwilling to acknowledge that my payments have been completely on time. I am disgusted by being targeted and spoken to as someone who is delinquent when I am not by a representative for a company who I have paid on time.

Complaint What Happened After sending a " request for validation '' letter to Automated Collection Services Inc. XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX, TN XXXX in XXXX of 2019, I received back a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX that have 3 separate letters with 3 separate accounts attached that I received back on XX/XX/2019. Also along with the letters are attached copies of my medical records. However, none of the letters have any form of my signature that is required to " validate '' the requested debt. Furthermore, according to the FCRA ( Fair Credit Reporting Act ) Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), you are required by federal law to verify through the physical verification of the originally signed consumer contract-any and all accounts for your credit report. Otherwise, anyone paying for your reporting services could fax, mail, or email in a fraudulent account. Unless receiving a signed document with my signature, this company is currently in violation of my HIPPA rights under federal law.

Complaint What Happened ACSI is reporting incorrect information about me to all 3 credit bureaus, as of XX/2017. On XXXX XXXX,2017 ACSI sends me a letter indicating I owe money for a student loan the following day I replied that I do not any 'student loan ' because a ) I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX b ) I have not gone to school since XXXX grade, c ) I am completely/fully retired. But they still reported me to the credit bureaus prior to contacting me first which is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Subsequent to their illegal reporting my credit score went from a XXXX fico score to a XXXX fico score and I am currently buying a house which will directly affect my interest rate. What ACSI is illegal and they need to be hold accountable.

Complaint What Happened The company is ACSI. They are continuing to robo-call my cell phone after I've asked them to remove my number from their autodialer. I am willing to receive a call from a human being there if they wish to discuss whatever debt they're calling about, but the TCPA is rather clear on robo-calls to cellphones. I called them back and recorded it with their knowledge, in which I informed them of the law in this case and asked for my number to be removed from their autodialer. Then, I posted a redacted version of the call ( excluding my number and their company name with brownian noise ) on my XXXX profile here : https : XXXX I also have a non-redacted mp3 of this call, if there is a place where you would like it sent.

Complaint What Happened ACSI reported an alleged account owed by me to XXXX formally known as XXXX. My first knowledge of this debt was via email that was sent by ACSI. I never provided my email address to ACSI or gave permission for ACSI to email me. Because I am victim of fraud, I responded asking for the original debt validation that was never sent via mail as stated in their attempt to collect this alleged debt sent via email. ACSI ignored my email replies and continued emailing scripted responses and harassing me via telephone. ACSI has now re-aged this account that was originally reported to the credit bureaus XXXX and XXXX with the original date of XX/XX/XXXX ( opening date of XX/XX/XXXX ) by closing the original debt collection account as of XX/XX/XXXX and re-inserting it under a different name ACSIXXXX which a new open date of XX/XX/XXXX. This is a violation of the FCRA and my rights as a consumer. My credit report has been ruined which is causing hardship for me and my family. I will upload my police report and email exchanges with this company. I have also filed a complaint with the XXXX XXXX XXXX and the state attorney 's office.

Complaint What Happened On the last week of XXXX, I received a call from Automated Collection Services , Inc. regarding an alleged balance with XXXX Hospital. The lady was talking nonstop about the balance and how I need to pay over the phone asap. As I tried to tell her that I haven't received the bill because I am out of the country, she began talking over me, making sarcastic comments on how come I didn't receive the bill, etc. At which point, I had to raise my voice so I can advise her once more that I am out of the country. I gave her my email to email me the bill, which she said she would that week. Through the call, her harassing tone was annoying. A week passed with no email, and on XX/XX/XXXX, another rude and ill-mannered female called and asked me to pay again, while she too was harassing me about the bill. Again, I had to raise my voice so she can finally hear that I haven't received the email. In fact, I told her to forward me that email ( since according to her was sent to me ) while we were on the phone, and instead, she continued to harass and finally, she hung up the phone. I called back and spoke to her manager who apologized, however, I do not appreciate being harassed like this.

Complaint What Happened I am writing to file a formal complaint against ACSI Collections for their continuous and unwarranted attempts to collect a debt that I have repeatedly informed them is not mine. Despite my clear communications and requests for cessation, ACSI Collections has persistently contacted me via phone calls and left voicemails, disregarding my instructions and rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ( TCPA ).
