On XX/XX/2023 my Google Pay account registered under the email XXXX was suspended for " suspicious activitiy ''. I was instructed to upload my ID and most recent payment method used on my account. I uploaded my ID multiple times, a phyiscal picture of both the debit cards on my account, and XXXX bank statements for the checking account on my account. Each time I was informed the documents could not be verified.
I then recieved word from the XXXX team that my accould would have to remain suspended due to terms of service violation. I have had this account for years and not a single issue like dispute so I am not sure what terms of service they are refering to that I violated.
Regardless I decided to withdraw the {$1800.00} in my Google Pay balance since they would no longer allow me to use my account. I was then prompted with a message saying " Something went wrong. Your account was suspended. Go to the payments page for more info ''.
Since then I have had this same message every time I try to withdraw my money. Google pay closed my account for no reason and is trying to steal {$1800.00} from me. This is very upsetting. Please make this right.

I purchased a XXXX watch/fitness tracker from XXXX. It came with a " free '' subscription.
however, many months later I received an unauthorized charge from Google for {$79.00}. I did not authorize this. I was not asked if I wanted a subscription. they just give you a free one, then start charging for it.
I tried to cancel it, but they say their terms of service state " no refunds ''. So I am charged for something I never ordered and don't want, and they refuse to make it right and give me a refund.

Google and its employees are actively engaged in an effort to defraud me of my owed financial compensation. This compensation is owed to me by the U.S. government as restitution for damages caused during a security clearance investigation. Google, numerous times now has done the following to me on several individual accounts that I have made on their platform : -Made me unable to access my email and set my email 's reset method as 'recover by email using the very email address you can not access ' -Made me unable to use Google Pay to pay for services such as Google XXXX.
-Deleted key evidence from my Google XXXX that I could use to protect myself from the XXXX XXXX effort that they are complicit in.
Google is actively engaging in an effort to rob me of my owed compensation. They are actively taking advantage of their access to my information, financial payment authorizations, and evidence to further their effort of XXXX XXXX me.

Somehow Google pay captured my new debit information from a payment I made then used that information to pay other accounts, like XXXX, XXXX XXXX which is a gaming app and XXXX XXXX which was a three month free trial. Today I got money deposited and XXXX grabbed all the money. I am XXXX, XXXX, and on a low pension and like everyone else who got sidelined when XXXX hit have been living on a really low pension.
I am really tired of the aggressiveness of online companies like XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX in grabbing payments. I got a notice that XXXX was having trouble collecting funds. I am like okay, because they don't have the new debit card number and I don't even know why they were trying to charge me because I never gave the new debit card number nor authorized any payments. When I complained to XXXX about this they were not sympathetic. They want me to go without money so that the billionaires at XXXX could get richer. I talked to XXXX at XXXX and informed that this is XXXX abuse and still still XXXX refused to give me a provisional credit, They wanted me to go without a debit card bec ause I won't be able to get a new card until middle of next week. I pay XXXX $ XXXX for priority service and they still discriminate against for be a woman, XXXX and XXXX.
I do not understand why I have to be penalized over {$56.00} while XXXX and XXXX make millions. For me the hardship is that I can't buy food or pick up prescriptions without access to funds. I also fail to understand why XXXX insists on using call centers in XXXX XXXX that have no sympathy or empathy for the hardships I might be experiencing. I feel that my needs would be more recognized in a country that is not chauvinist and misogynist as everyone knows the XXXXXXXX XXXX where the dictator leader kills people who suffer from drug addiction.

n 2011 or so Google marketed a free version of " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' at anyone who wanted vanity/personalized email accounts other than XXXX account. However, they phased those out and now focus only on business ( XXXX XXXX then XXXX ). They've left in the free legacy accounts, but they converted them to business accounts even though ours has nothing to do with business. We've been trying for months with numerous agencies to find someone at Google who will help us convert the old " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' account to personal accounts and preserve purchases and settings in the app. Google refuses to acknowledge us unless we pay to upgrade to an XXXX account at our cost, which shouldn't be necessary to just get out domain/accounts converted back to a personal account again ( which a company with the know how of Google should be able to do easily ). The best we can find on their forums is that we just download a raw dump of all our Google data ( Google XXXX ) and lose all purchases and anything else we've done. To bad so sad. Neither the FTC nor the FCC has been able to help. Hopefully the CFPB can since now Google is making changes to their consumer financial product. Now we come to the new issue. Google is getting converting their Google Pay digital wallet and tap-to-pay service to a new Google Pay service. However, they will not let business/enterprise users ( which apparently we are ) use the new service, so we are going to lose our digital wallet and tap-to-pay services that we have quite a bit of financial information in. I attempted to contact Google to ask about the new Google Pay, and all I got was that it won't work with enterprise accounts and that I need to create a new, separate XXXX account for it to work. But they did not even acknowledge my question about converting my " business '' account to a personal account or why they are otherwise kicking so many users out of their financial service without a viable alternative.
Google told CFPB on XXXX that I have a personal address and it's not a problem, but that is not true. I can not use their Google Pay service ( or any other service like Google XXXX ) because it is " not available for workspace accounts '' so the issue is not as they stated when they erroneously closed the previous complaint and they gave inaccurate information to CFPB to close it.

Card was previously added to the XXXX payments center to keep on file for digital purchases. Subscription service was linked to card thru XXXX. Renewal time came around and card had expires as I forgot about the subscription from a year ago. XXXX as punishment issued a ban for any adding of cards to my entire XXXX account. Contacted XXXX. They advised they would not unrestrict it. I find this to be a violation of UDAAP. Having a card reissued for the same card number ( new exp and cvv ) is not an indicator of fraud or money laundering etc. That is a common practice of a bank to issue a new card with a new exp. I feel XXXX has been unfair and very deceptive about accepting payment and giving support which did not solve any issues.

The refunds were all issued by the developers and XXXX kept the money and never returned them to any bank or previous account. Everytime I call I show proof and get hung up on. I found out in XX/XX/XXXX from my XXXX Credit Card that someone made a purchase with my Credit Card number and paid for a hotel when i did not utilize so XXXX stopped the payments and canceled my card and gave me a new one. I checked my other cards and bank account and found someone has stolen money off of my XXXX XXXX card and XXXX XXXX cards and my XXXX XXXX debit card. My money stolen for these others was someone using the money for gaming on Google. My XXXX XXXX account canceled my cards and gave me new ones and got my money that was stolen returned. XXXX XXXX has not yet fixed this problem and neither has XXXX XXXX, the bank cost the most as {$1400.00} was stolen from XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX. I am on XXXX and haven't worked in over 4 years and on occasion in the past i did sometimes pay for gaming but not in recent months cause i was dealing with house refinance and helping my parents cause my dad just turned XXXX and mom is about to turn XXXX. During XXXX and XXXX i was given gift cards for Google gaming which i did use but not my credit cards or bank account cause i was trying to help my parents.

I am the owner of a residential property ( condominium ) which was being leased to two tenants in XXXX. As required by the residential lease, on XX/XX/XXXX, a partial month 's rent payment of {$600.00} was paid to me by the tenants using Google Pay, a digital payment service. I accepted this payment and it was deposited into my physical bank account.
Nearly five months later, on XX/XX/XXXX, one of the tenants fraudulently disputed this transaction with their bank. This bank, without notifying me, investigating the claim, or receiving my consent, accepted the tenant 's claim as truthful and, according to Google, demanded the {$600.00}.
Google then ( again, without investigation or my consent ) acceded to this demand and unilaterally pulled this amount from my Google Pay account ; since I use Google Pay as a pass-through/payment app and not as an account to store funds, my balance is typically {$0.00}, meaning that this action by Google left me with a - {$600.00} Google Pay account balance.
I contacted Google via online chat, who told me to file a form to start an investigation, which I did on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, Google stated the following : " Thanks for contacting Google Pay support. We determined this dispute claim is invalid. In the disputed transaction, you claimed an amount through Google Pay. We found no system errors and as advised, if it was canceled from the counterparty, you have to contact them directly to get the funds back. The Error Resolution Policy specifically states that any, 'Customers are solely responsible for disputes and GPC is not a party to and will not be responsible for any disputes between Customers. ' Further action may be taken against the other accounts involved. Due to user confidentiality, we cant discuss the outcome of any investigations with you or them. If you have any other questions about Google Pay, reply to this email. '' I responded by stating that their statement was openly contradictory, as they already HAD intervened in the so-called dispute by unilaterally taking {$600.00} from me and accepting the tenant 's ( and their bank 's ) claim as factual. In later emails, they stated that they " can not process a refund for a transaction disputed by the counterparty '' ; again, this is openly contradictory, as they processed a refund for the tenant simply because the tenant made a complaint. No investigation, no notification, just a sight unseen pull of money from my balance to the tenant. I advised them that in this state, stealing {$600.00} is first-degree petit theft, and that, by blindly granting {$600.00} to the tenant and subsequently refusing to assist me when notified of the fraud, they are aiding and abetting that theft. Google has since stopped responding to my emails, despite my attempts and offerings of documentation as to the legitimacy of the original rent payment.

Google Irresponsible -- I Lost {>= $1,000,000} I downloaded from Google Pay Store a trading app known as XXXX which turned out to be a fraudulent scam trading platform website XXXX where I transferred {>= $1,000,000} and although it looked like you made money trading, one did not make any money instead the money that was transferred to that website it was immediately thereafter transferred to other wallet addresses, I have the evidence, so I lost {>= $1,000,000}.
In addition, despite the fact that I have flagged that app numerous times on a daily basis, Google Play Store still has not removed it.
Further, in researching who the server was for that website I contacted them, XXXX who shut down that website.
I lost {>= $1,000,000} because of Google 's lack of concern for the public and only cared about making money from developers.
Again, Google should be made liable for all my losses or {>= $1,000,000} as they are grossly negligent and do not care about the public. I am XXXX XXXX XXXX and now I am completely broke and had to terminate my employees because I do not have any money to pay them because of Google.
I have all the evidence for my losses.

On XX/XX/2024, I purchased a Google XXXX XXXX gift card from XXXX for {$44.00}. Upon attempting to redeem the gift card to my Google account, I received an error message stating : " We need more info to redeem your gift card. Send us details. '' I completed and submitted the requested information form on XX/XX/2024.
On XX/XX/2024, Google responded with the following message : " Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your account. We have identified some inconsistencies with your account and the information you provided us. As a result, we are unable to help you redeem these gift cards. '' I also contacted Google Support via their chat system, but the support agent informed me that they could not assist directly and that I must submit the form.
I subsequently submitted the information form two additional times : On XX/XX/2024, I submitted the form again with supplementary details regarding my case. Google responded stating that I must wait 72 hours before submitting another request.
On XX/XX/2024, I submitted the form for a third time. Google replied with the same automated response as my initial submission, stating they were unable to help redeem the gift cards due to account inconsistencies.

XX/XX/XXXX this complaint is against GOOGLE.COM My name is XXXX XXXX. I am the only XXXX XXXX in the XXXX. Sometime ago I created a gmail account in my name ... XXXX and a business XXXX account ... XXXX. My current address is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Florida XXXX and my real phone number is ( XXXX ) XXXX.
Unfortunately I had both of these accounts stolen ( hacked ) and a phony google voice telephone number ( XXXX ) XXXX opened in my name.
Because the business email is the recovery email for my personal XXXX account and because the confirmation phone number was changed in my personal account all my attempts to recover the account have been in vain. Recovery confirmations are sent to the recovery email, which is hacked ... or to the fake google phone number in my name using the hacked XXXX account.
The results of this identity theft began with the theft of {$100000.00} XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and a {$15000.00} hack at XXXX in the year XXXX and has continued relentlessly until today.
Nothing I can do will get Google to fix this, making then co-conspirators in these and may more thefts! Most recently a {$5400.00} theft at XXXX XXXX XXXX and a hack of my XXXX account resulting in items purchased by a hacker and charged to my account and the resetting of my current email to the hacked ... XXXX.
But all that is just the beginning... Unaware by me until very recently when i tried to open a new bank account ... since XXXX, some 30 new bank account openings have been recorded at XXXXXXXX XXXX in my name using the phony credentials. And XXXX XXXX has not been able to reverse many of these entries since the banks have not disavowed the account opening attempts. I do not know if these accounts were opened and my stolen identity was used for some money laundering acts or whatever.

Google wallet keep telling me they refunded my XXXX only charge I ever had with them.. I was requested to get a bank letter head showing I never received the refund which I did i sent it in. Now there response if they do not see anything for the transaction called the bank which they have been telling me for 3 months now.

This is the third CFPB complaint I am filing against Google Pay in the last couple of months. For the third time now my Google pay account under the email XXXX has been suspended for no reason. For the third time I am requested to submit my ID and most recent payment method which I submitted numerous times just to be told over and over the documents could not be accepted. I submitted my driver lisence, bank statement, phyiscal picture of my debit card, everything they asked yet they refuse to remove the suspension from my account and are now blocking me from withdrawing over {$2000.00} in my Google Pay balance which they also did in the previous suspensions.
It is very sad that a corporation as big as Google is contiously bullying me and holding my money hostage for no reason. {$2000.00} is nothing to this company but for me it is causing serious issues not being able to accecss those funds. I am getting sick of having to file a comlpaint with the CFPB just to get Google Pay to accept my documents and stop holding my account ransom. It is very upsetting that it takes a government agency just to make sure Google Pay follows the rules and doesn't steal from me. I can only imagine how many people have suffered at the hands of this company because they did not have the same consumer knowledge that I have and did not file a report with the CFPB. Please Google Pay stop holding your customers accounts hostage and attempting to steal their money. It is wrong.

On XX/XX/2023 i contacted google store support due to the store not giving me the option to pay with my google store card ending XXXX. Support rep was useless. Quoted a previous unrelated order. Then said its a XXXX XXXX problem. Upon calling XXXX, they indicated they have no control over the sites store.google.com or pay.google.com. Google has failed to provide any reasonable support, representatives that understand english, and reps that understand their own websites. Google has failed on many levels and its preventing the use of a Reg Z item.

I purchased two phones from Google through their online store and financed the purchase through Google 's Credit ( which is really XXXX Bank ) to which I have been paying off with my XXXX credit card. I returned the phones, Google confirms they received the phones in good condition and will issue a refund in up to 14 business days. It has been over a month. Hours were spent talking to Google Support, then sent to Google *XXXX Support, to have to repeat the story to a Synchrony agent only to then be shuffled back to a Google Support XXXX. Truly a nightmare.
I have been purchasing Google products for years and never had a problem up until now because I had to return something. There has been zero refund to my credit card, Google XXXX account ( which I'm still making payments on!!!! ), or Google account. You would think after buying XXXX phones from them they would want to help you out. It's honestly shocking how awful Google has fumbled this.

On XXXX/XXXX/16 at XXXX a random person sent me a payment of {$140.00} on Google Wallet. I had no idea who this person was or what the payment was for, so within half an hour at exactly XXXX I refunded the transaction on the same day XXXX/XXXX/16 for the same exact amount to the same email it came from. Since Google Wallet does not have an option to directly refund a transaction, I had to send a separate transaction as the refund. In this second transaction that acted as the refund I specifically put in the memo of the transaction " Refund for transaction XXXX ''. The X 's represent the exact original transaction ID for {$140.00} that was sent to me. Fast forward over two months later, on XXXX/XXXX/16 the person who sent me the original transaction for {$140.00} puts a reversal on the payment even though they were already refunded it by me the same day they sent it, Google Wallet lets them reverse the original payment and they take {$140.00} from my account leaving me at a $ -XXXX wallet balance and unable to use Google Wallet even though I had already paid this person back. The first day this happened and multiple times since I have contacted the person via the email the original payment was sent to me from to ask what the deal was and little to my surprise I have head nothing back because they clearly blatantly stole from me and knew what they were doing 100 %, i 'm sure they were in shock Google Wallet made it so easy for this person to steal from me.
On the same day the reversal also happened ( XXXX/XXXX/16 ) I filed two dispute forms with Google Wallet putting in all of this exact evidence I am mentioning now and that is where the real nightmare started. There support has been absolutely terrible to me! I only got a response on XXXX of the forms I submitted as of now, and the only advice they have given to me is to try to contact the person even though I made it clear to them multiple I already did and they are not responding, they still refuse to do anything and are making me pay this $ -XXXX balance at this point even though I have clear proof that this transaction that was reversed on me was already refunded 29 minutes after it was originally sent! Specifically the customer support agent XXXX who responded to my first dispute form via email has also been terrible to me, he has blatantly ignored the numerous followup emails I have sent in the recent days asking about the status of my case, effectively leaving me clueless as to what is going on. The customer support representative/supervisor XXXX XXXX in the Google Wallet Live Chat I spoke with was also terrible, they gave me unless advice telling me to file another dispute form even though I 'm still waiting for a result on the first two I filed, and this actual incident itself is not even a dispute. Someone fraudulently reversed a payment on me that I had already refunded, yet Google Wallet wants to act as if this is a " dispute '' and make me wait weeks for them to do something, its clear to me by now they plan on doing nothing though if I can present such clear evidence that I was victimized and they disregard it its clear to me they just wan na make me pay for someone else 's fraud.
This company is truly pathetic when it comes to support and every other aspect, they will let people steal from you and make you pay for it, be careful everyone!
