Citation text line | 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iv)(f): The point of operation of power saws whose operation exposed an employee to injury were not guarded: a. On or about February 14, 2023, 612 Ware Boulevard, Tampa, Florida, an employee was operating a dual miter saw with 14 inch saw blades to cut lumber which was then used to make pictures frames, during which time the blades were not guarded; therefore, exposing the employee to amputation hazards. b. On or about February 14, 2023, 612 Ware Boulevard, Tampa, Florida, an employee was operating a dual miter saw with 12 inch saw blades to cut lumber which was then used to make pictures frames, during which time the blades were not guarded; therefore, exposing the employee to amputation hazards. c. On or about February 14, 2023, 612 Ware Boulevard, Tampa, Florida, an employee was operating a dual miter saw with 12 inch saw blades to cut aluminum which was then used to make pictures frames, during which time the blades were not guarded; therefore, exposing the employee to amputation hazards. |
