29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): The employer shall provide portable fire extinguishers and shall mount, locate and identify them so that they are readily accessible to employees without subjecting the employees to possible injury. a) In the printing area beside the door way with plastic curtains, employees were exposed to fire hazards when a fire extinguisher was not identified with a sign or placard. This violation was observed on or about October 4, 2017. b) On the wall within the warehouse carpeted area, employees were exposed to fire hazards when a fire extinguisher was not identified with a sign or placard. This violation was observed on or about October 4, 2017. c) On the pole within the warehouse carpeted area, employees were exposed to fire hazards when a fire extinguisher was not identified with a sign or placard. This violation was observed on or about October 4, 2017. d) In the office area next to the doorway into the bathroom area, employees were exposed to fire hazards when a fire extinguisher was not identified with a sign or placard. This violation was observed on or about October 4, 2017. e) In the office area next to "campsite" office, employees were exposed to fire hazards when a fire extinguisher was not identified with a sign or placard. This violation was observed on or about October 4, 2017. f) On the pole with the curtain motor, near the sewing area, employees were exposed to fire hazards when a fire extinguisher blocked from access.
