Complaint What Happened I have written the company on two different occasions asking them to correct this error, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. This is company is trying to collect money from me that I do not owe. They have reported four different accounts with the credit bureaus. They have failed to provide a copy of any alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature and I will be filing a smalls claims action against this company at my local venue and will be seeking a minimum of {$1000.00} in damages per violation for : 1. ) Defamation 2. ) Negligent Enablement of Identity Fraud 3. ) Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( including but not limited to Section 807-8 ) 4. ) Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( including but not limited to Section 623-b )

Complaint What Happened NOTICE TO AGENT IS NOTICE TO PRICIPAL NOTICE TO PRINCIPAL IS NOTICE TO AGENT I hereby give your Company notice in pursuant to 15 USC 1602 ( k ) that your Company never gave an adequate notice which clearly & conspicuously mentions the pertinent facts of this transaction. Your company didn't even inform me about the Cost of Credit and the only evidence of the indebtedness was just a computer-generated agreement. According to 15 USC 1602 ( k ), the term " adequate notice '' means a printed notice to a cardholder which sets forth the pertinent facts clearly and conspicuously so that a person against whom it is operate could reasonably be expected to have noticed it and understood its meaning. Such notice may be given to a cardholder by printing the notice on any credit card, or on each periodic statement of account, issued to the cardholder, or by any other means reasonably assuring the receipt thereof by the cardholder. Since adequate notice was not given as per the above-mentioned section, I couldn't understand its meaning which is a violation under 15 USC 1602 ( k ). Further, pursuant to 15 USC 1601 ( a ) a consumer must be aware of the cost of transaction. Since I was not aware of the transaction therefore made a uniformed decision and it resulted in multiple billing errors, and unfair credit card practices. From your end, I have not benefited from this transaction which is again violation of 15 USC 1602 ( p ). According to 15 USC 1602 ( p ). The term " unauthorized use '' means a use of a credit card by a person other than the cardholder who does not have actual, implied or apparent authority or such use and form which the cardholder receives no benefit. I hereby request you to do the below-mentioned things : DELETE THESE ACCOUNTS OFF MY REPORT AND VALIDATE THE DEBT 15 USC 1692 ( K ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX SERVICES ALSO UPDATE THE LATE PAYMENTS TO PAID ON TIME. If you accept my request, i will not escalate this matter to Federal Court. In case, you don't accept the above requests, a legal action shall be taken against your Company for compensatory damages. Complaint What Happened I am writing to EXPRESS RECOVERY agency because I am having difficulties with buying a house and applying for new credit cards. I paid the collection and do not owe anything, but the mark in my credit reports prevents me from achieving the desired results. I am kindly requesting EXPRESS RECOVERY agency to remove this collection from my credit reports as a gesture of goodwill. Doing so would sincerely be appreciated and represent an invaluable gift to my family and me.

Complaint What Happened NOTE : I checked the option that showed " Attempt to collect the wrong amount '' because that was the best option. Not the real problem. The real problem was that I negotiated a " Pay for Delete '' with this company, and they didn't hold up their end of the bargain and delete the information from my credit file.

Complaint What Happened I was with XXXX for XXXX+ years. I decided to not renew because I was not satisfied with them. I was on a month to month contract, but, to simplify my life I just paid it annually in advance each year. The last renewal bill I did not pay. I switched alarm companies in XXXX. That same month I got a call from XXXX XXXX asking why I did not renew. I told the supervisor why and he stated he was sorry and asked what he could do to keep me as a customer. I told him I already switched XXXX and there was nothing. He said he would get back to me with a proposal anyway, I said fine, just email it to me. I never got that email and therefore did not even think about it. Sine that phone call I sold my home, purchased another and never gave this issue another thought until early this year, I noticed a collections on my credit report. They are claiming I owe {$330.00} for alarm services. Then I got to thinking about what happened. I had some questions. 1 ) Why are they charging me for almost a full year of service? 2 ) Why did n't the supervisor tell me this on the phone in XXXX when he knew I was with another company? 3 ) How long does it take to cancel a service for non payment? I called XXXX XXXX and they said they do not have the records anymore I have to deal with the collections company. I sent certified letters to the collection agency ( attached ) trying to resolve this and they are refusing my offer. I offered paying up to the time in XXXX that I spoke with the supervisor even though I feel I owe nothing. I think it is more than fair. I now understand that they require an advanced written notice to cancel. I think the supervisor had an obligation to notify me of this when I spoke to him on the phone. There was no way for me to know or remember this procedure from XXXX years ago.

Complaint What Happened " I am a victim of identity theft. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, we are all facing which has me sitting still at home and I saw the recent news about the multiple XXXX Data breaches. I decided to look at my credit reports from the 3 major credit bureaus and found that someone had used my Identity. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. I did not receive any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft. I contacted the Credit Bureau and told me to file an Identity Theft Report which I am doing.
