Complaint What Happened After renting a house in an economically challenged neighborhood, my wife and I were forced to remove ourselves from the property due to ongoing threats of extreme violence from the neighbors. In doing so, we had to make arrangements with the property owner, XXXX. Our agreement was a verbal one and we were to receive a written statement, I am not sure where it went as we moved in a hurry. The agreement included cash as well as all of our brand new appliances ( cash value was more than the debt ). We just need to get out. A year had passed when we first noticed a collection company reporting we owed someone we not aware of. We never received a written statement of this debt, just that it seemed to appear out of nowhere. Unfortunately, this debt gets removed and the replaced. Now the collection is still ongoing and still noting in writing from them, I have sent a register letter to acquire this information in writing. The ongoing effort to collect a debt that we do not owe is being done by a company that is not licensed to collect debts here in the of Florida!

Complaint What Happened I have filed numerous times to get these removed. They do get removed and then the Collection agency puts them right back on. What 's worse, this is an unlicensed collection agency. Evidently, XXXX does not require licensing, but in order to collect debt in the state of XXXX, a collection agency must first be licensed in XXXX. I believe this company to unscrupulous. Today while pouring over paperwork I realized the original debtor being claimed is wrong. The account we paid in full is being reported as completely different company in an effort to retrieve monies not owed to them.. I believe this to be fraud, or am I wrong? My husband and I paid this debt in full and the debtor listed with the collection agency is wrong. I have sent a legal request for documentation in writing, but I doubt I will receive a response. They can not produce what does not exist. I stand by my claim that this is fraudulent activity on the part of the collection agency and their client. Our agreement was with XXXX of XXXX, not XXXX. I 'm getting older and it 's hard to keep track of names after awhile, but I eventually I get there and remember.

Complaint What Happened I moved out of XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022 with the renting property in great shape. Nothing was left inside or outside the property. We cleaned the place up as well and was never late on any form of rent. They are saying we owe {$2700.00} as of XX/XX/2022. We gave a months notice before we moved out. The {$400.00} security deposit was left behind.

Complaint What Happened Consumer Collection Management has been removed from one credit report a few times, but it keeps coming back, after it gets investigated and then removed. They have also made slight changes each time they resubmit it to the 3 reporting bureaus. Each time we have asked for proof of the debt and all we have ever heard, is because we have a form?! Where is the proof? Without proof they get removed, but then they come right back.
