Complaint What Happened This bottom feeder company which purchases alleged debts for pennies on the dollar, sent me XXXX letters dated XX/XX/2022 for an alleged debt to XXXX. Regardless, the alleged debts are well past any Statute of Limitations for legal action and credit reporting. Upon receipt of this notice, immediately cease and desist all communication tactics. Further, you do not have my permission to forward this to any of your " other friends in the business ''. The letters were sent under the following reference numbers : XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX.

Complaint What Happened I do not remember contesting to agreeing for this company to email me. I told him to send me a letter in the mail. I just moved and I never provided them my new address but they have all my information obtained not by me. I believe my debt collector has provided this third party this information. I am irritate at this this point with them sending me letters via email. No one is authorized to give them my information. My number is registered " DO NOT CALL '' registry. Complaint What Happened The representatives of XXXX XXXX XXXX have been calling me repeatedly about debt that belongs to my brother and my father. I am not associated with the debt nor do I have any student loan debt but this is the second attempt to talk to compliance at XXXX and now FAMS where they continue to call me. It's causing me an unreasonable amount of anxiety because I am getting repeated calls on my personal cell phone number while I am at work. The real issue is that they are breaking state and federal laws re practices they are allowed to use to collect debt. I also know they have tried to call other family trying to recover the debt that none of these family members are responsible for. I actually have XXXX dollars in student debt which makes this situation even worse. XXXX XXXX XXXX is at XXXX, and I spoke to XXXX XXXX at XXXX. I'm interested in how to stop this agregious practice period for me and all my family unassociated with this debt.

Complaint What Happened My mother since 2012 has been receiving calls from a XXXX Company looking for XXXX. My mother, XXXX XXXX, since having acquired the number in 2012 from XXXX started receiving calls. As she does not speak XXXX, she tells me that they call and hang up once she starts talking. I return the numerous calls and after speaking to someone, always find out its actually for an XXXX XXXX. After a heartless apology for the mistake the countless reps over the years have vowed with every fiber of their being to remove the number to ensure she never gets a call again. A few months go by before another call looking for an XXXX XXXX from the same company. Today was the last straw, I called back and spoke to a representative and then his manager XXXX XXXX who was extremely rude, condescending, and was deriding my XXXX background when I was speaking to my mother the victim of these non-stop harassment calls that she does not understand. XXXX kept overtalking me and refused to apologize for the way he was speaking to me. Again the calls for XXXX XXXX has been ongoing for over 3 years. XXXX has confirmed with me that the they have XXXX XXXX for my mothers number XXXX and they do not know why this collection company say its XXXX XXXX.

Complaint What Happened Financial Asset Management Systems Inc. representative contacted me to collect a debt. However, the representative refused to give me any information on the debt unless I provided my full social security number. I told representative that I will not provide my social security number ; that I will only provide my name and address. The representative insisted that I provide my social security number otherwise she will not provide any information about the debt. I told her that I will not jeopardize giving you my social security number for her and the company she is representing to use in any type of security breach that can devastate my identity. She insisted that I give my social security number or else I do not receive the information about a debt collection and threatened to take legal action against me for not providing my social security number to her. I find this very troubling as this company has attempted to extort my social security number and attempting to collect a debt and are unable to provide any information about this debt and then use threatening tactics. Unacceptable!!!!

Complaint What Happened XX/XX/XXXX I'm writing to request this information be removed from my XXXX Credit Report Account. I've been disputing this account since it's been placed on my credit report. I lived at XXXX Apartments back in XX/XX/XXXX. When I got ready to move I spoke with XXXX the rental manager at that time. I gave them proper notice before I moved. I also was granted to move before my lease expired. The agreement was for me to clean the apartment and they would keep my deposit and I would not owe the apartment complex any rent. This was verbal agreement that XXXX the apartment manager gave me. After I'd vacated the premises several months later I started receiving collection notices that I owed {$730.00}. I left voice mail messages to XXXX who was the regional manager, I finally spoke with her and she stated that they kept my deposit, but I still owed money. I disagreed with her regarding any monies owed because what XXXX who was the Manager at the time advised me before I left that I didn't owe the apartment complex any money. I still didn't agree to what had taken place. I was still receiving collection notices until I decided to pay this money, because it would affect my credit and me not being able to rent another apartment. Before I agreed to pay the collection, I phoned XXXX XXXX XXXX, I believe I spoke with XXXX XXXX, I wanted to know if I paid this collection would it be deleted off my credit and she advised that it would be in a few months. Well a few months has turned into years. I've been disputing this item for several years, and they refused to delete off my XXXX Credit report. I'm writing to your agency to see if this item can be deleted from my report. I've paid the item, but the collection agency didn't remove it like they told me. Please review this matter, I look forward to hearing from someone hopefully with good news.
