Complaint What Happened This company or person calls repeatedly, does not say what it is, who they are trying to contact or anything. I researched by phone number and it appears to be a collection agency. I do not have any errant debt, all credit cards and vehicle loan is 100 % current on payments, every month. I even pay ahead, like 4 months ahead on car loan so no clue what on earth these people are doing. I suspect they have a wrong number but they won't listen just insist they are right, amd badger rudely, but won't state who they are wanting to speak to! I smell a scam here. I'm not falling for this pack of lies from some unknown company.

I paid the remaining {$200.00} through the hospital 's online payment portal on XX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX of this year I noticed that the collection agency had reported the a debt of {$200.00}. I never received a letter from this company stating that they were trying to collect a debt which is illegal under the FDCPA. Complaint What Happened Have had no response from this company regarding this debt except a copy of the original invoice. Acct # : XXXX. Requested 3 times. ( XX/XX/2019, XX/XX/2019 and XX/XX/2019 ). I am still asking this be removed from my credit report. I am responding to your contact about a debt you are trying to collect. You are the third person from your company to contact me regarding a debt apparently originating with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Your response, as well as the other two, was grossly inadequate and failed to address any of my legal requests. It makes no difference to me if you are the 100th person from your company contacting me. You must address my concerns and requests fully, appropriately and legally before I address any of your request. I am repeating these requests below again for the third time and maybe for the last time. Ignoring my requests indicate your agreement that you have a non-legal authority to collect this debt. I have requested among other things legal proof you are able to collect this debt and so far you have grossly under performed in meeting any aspect of this request. I would suggest you respond to each request below adequately. Failure to address these requests will result in my ignoring further correspondence from your company unless you can address my requests fully, appropriately and legally. Please supply the information below so that I can be fully informed : Why you think I owe the debt and to whom I owe it, including : The name and address of the creditor to whom the debt is currently owed, the account number used by that creditor, and the amount owed. If this debt started with a different creditor, provide the name and address of the original creditor, the account number used by that creditor, and the amount owed to that creditor at the time it was transferred. When you identify the original creditor, please provide any other name by which I might know them, if that is different from the official name. In addition, tell me when the current creditor obtained the debt and who the current creditor obtained it from. Provide verification and documentation that there is a valid basis for claiming that I am required to pay the debt to the current creditor. For example, can you provide a copy of the written agreement that created my original requirement to pay? If you are asking that I pay a debt that somebody else is or was required to pay, identify that person. Provide verification and documentation about why this is a debt that I am required to pay. The amount and age of the debt, including : A copy of the last billing statement sent to me by the original creditor. State the amount of the debt when you obtained it, and when that was. If there have been any additional interest, fees or charges added since the last billing statement from the original creditor, provide an itemization showing the dates and amount of each added amount. In addition, explain how the added interest, fees or other charges are expressly authorized by the agreement creating the debt or are permitted by law. If there have been any payments or other reductions since the last billing statement from the original creditor, provide an itemization showing the dates and amount of each of them. If there have been any other changes or adjustments since the last billing statement from the original creditor, please provide full verification and documentation of the amount you are trying to collect. Explain how that amount was calculated. In addition, explain how the other changes or adjustments are expressly authorized by the agreement creating the debt or permitted by law. Tell me when the creditor claims this debt became due and when it became delinquent. Identify the date of the last payment made on this account. Have you made a determination that this debt is within the statute of limitations applicable to it? Tell me when you think the statute of limitations expires for this debt, and how you determined that. Details about your authority to collect this debt. I would like more information about your firm before I discuss the debt with you. Does your firm have a debt collection license from my state? If not, say why not. If so, provide the date of the license, the name on the license, the license number, and the name, address and telephone number of the state agency issuing the license. If you are contacting me from a place outside my state, does your firm have a debt collection license from that place? If so, provide the date of the license, the name on the license, the license number, and the name, address and telephone number of the state agency issuing the license. I have asked for this information because I have some questions. I need to hear from you to make an informed decision about your claim that I owe this money. I am open to communicating with you for this purpose. In order to make sure that I am not put at any disadvantage, in the meantime please treat this debt as being in dispute and under discussion between us. In addition to providing the information requested above, please let me know whether you are prepared to accept less than the balance you are claiming is owed. If so, please tell me in writing your offer with the amount you will accept to fully resolve the account. Failure to provide the information requested indicates a negative response to this request and an apparent illegal effort on your part to collect this debt.

Complaint What Happened Subject : Incorrect Reporting of Debt Collecti on by Aargon Agency Inc. in Violation of FCRA/FDCPA Description of the issue : I am submitting this complaint concerning the improper reporting of a collection account from Aargon Agency Inc. on my credit report. I have disputed this debt several times through both the credit reporting agencies and directly with Aargon Agency Inc. without resolution. Despite my disputes, Aargon Agency Inc. continues to report the debt inaccurately. Below are the account details from my most recent credit reports f rom XXXX and other sources : Original Creditor : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Account Balance : {$390.00} Date Opened : XX/XX/year> Date Last Reported : XX/XX/year> Status : Open Collection Account, Past Due Amount : {$390.00} Even after I disputed this debt multiple times, Aargon Agency Inc. failed to provide proper validation and continues to report the account incorrectly. Details of the dispute : 1. Incomplete Debt Validation : Aargon Agency Inc. provided a debt validation letter, but the letter lacked sufficient documentation proving that the debt is valid or belongs to me. The documents provided did not explain how the debt amount was calculated and failed to include the original signed contract from the original creditor, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX. Inconsistent and Inaccurate Reporting : The details reported by Aargon Agency Inc. are inconsistent across credit reporting agencies. There are discrepancies in the reported dates and amounts that show a failure to ensure accurate information. This violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) requirement for accurate and fair reporting. XXXX. Failure to Conduct a Reasonable Investigation : Under the FCRA, data furnishers such as Aargon Agency Inc. are required to investigate consumer disputes properly. Despite my multiple disputes, no reasonable investigation appears to have taken place. The account continues to be reported without corrections or explanations for the discrepancies, violating my rights under the FCRA. 4. Negative Impact on My Creditworthiness : The erroneous collection account has significantly impacted my credit score and financial opportunities. The continued presence of this account on my report has caused undue harm to my creditworthiness, which is particularly concerning given the unresolved nature of this debt.

Complaint What Happened I submitted a 30 day notice for moving out of an apartment. The office manager claimed I did not and tried to charge me another months rent and expenses. I submitted a written 30 day notice with my rent check as I was told to do. I verbally told them about 30 day notice, as well. The rent check was cashed, so I assume they got the written notice, too. I had the apartment professionally cleaned upon departure ( much, much cleaner than when I moved into the apartment ), I was completely out of the apartment days before the 30 days were up.
