XX/XX/year> XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX.
XXXX, FL XXXX XXXX XXXX AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation Customer Care Department XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, GA XXXX RE ; Loan Number ending in XXXX Dear Sir, Thank you for granting me a temporary forbearance hardship because the hurricane Milton damages I experienced. I am writing to request a 6 month repayment plan beginning on XX/XX/year>XXXX as the forbearance will end by the end of this month XXXX.
Additionally, there has been a horrible mistake to my mortgage account. Some has assigned my dads name to my mortgage. I am a single woman and I purchased this home in my name only. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is the ONLY name for the home at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX FL. XXXX. I have all necessary paperwork to prove my ownership. Please correct this misinformation ASAP.
You notified me via telephone conversation today when I called in around XXXX that you plan to transfer my mortgage. I have not received any paperwork regarding this to date.
LOSS MITIGATION AND EXPLORING ALTERNATIVES TO FORECLOSURE During the course of home ownership, increased expenses or changes in your family income may make it difficult to pay your bills including your monthly mortgage payments. You should always keep your mortgage payments current if possible. But if you can not continue to make your monthly mortgage payments for reasons beyond your control, please contact us to discuss various alternatives to foreclosure depending on your specific circumstances.
If your payment difficulties are temporary, you may qualify for one of the following options : Reinstatement this is the payment of the total amount due in a lump sum by a specific date.
Forbearance plan this allows you to reduce or suspend payments for a short time and then bring your loan current. A forbearance plan may be combined with a reinstatement when you know that you will have enough funds to bring your loan current at a later date, such as a tax refund insurance settlement, or investment reaching maturity.
Repayment plan this is an agreement to resume making your regular monthly payments plus a portion of the past due amount each month until you bring your loan current.
Thank you for your assistance.

I asked Amerisave to terminate any applications I have with them on XX/XX/XXXX, and then on XXXXXXXX XXXX I received an email stating they did a " credit denial. '' I have email proof of everything. I suspect a spiteful loan officer may have did this.

Complaint What Happened |
I applied for a refinance with Amerisave on XX/XX/22. I talked to XXXX XXXX and told I'd like to get a HELOC loan so I could do some work on my house. He was pushing a refinance with a XXXX loan lowering my % rate from 7.75 % to 5.25 %. I wanted {$25000.00}. loan. In the process he wanted me to bump my home insurance to {$70000.00}. which would cost me another {$650.00}. to get it to that amount. Which I don't have. I got a bill from home insurance to pay {$650.00} to be paid by XX/XX/22 and he changed the lienholder to Amerisave but I haven't had an appraisal or approved for the loan! So I called insurance company and told them to put it back the way it was and remove them as lienholder. I also sent XXXX two cease and desits emails. This would have cost way more than I can afford being XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX my husband and I initiated the home mortgage loan process with our local Ameris Bank by completing the online application. We were told that because of the holiday week-end, we would get a call on Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a call from XXXX XXXX with Amerisave who wanted to proceed with my loan. Even though the names of the organizations were almost identical, I questioned MrXXXX XXXX at length to ensure that I should be talking to him about the loan. He told me that because our credit score exceeded 600, Ameris could not process the loan and had sold it to his company. This sounded logical and we spoke for well over an hour with me providing him personal information and even giving him {$500.00} via a debit card. He was extremely competent, professional, and affable. He sent me several emails, including his contact information. Within a short period of time, he had scheduled an appraisal of the home we intended to purchase, and had contacted my realtor to make her aware of the date of the appraisal. Shortly thereafter, I received an email from someone who told me that she would be working with me throughout the loan process.
Later, my husband received a call from Ameris Bank to discuss our loan. When my husband told them that we were working with XXXX XXXX, they had no idea what he was talking about. Apparently, Mr. JXXXX had somehow gotten our loan information and " stolen '' the loan from Ameris against our wishes.
To say that I am irate about this situation would be an understatement. This man totally misrepresented himself to gain our personal and private information, including my Social Security number and banking information. He was totally disingenuous to meet his own agenda, deciding that he could decide who we got our loan with.
At this point, we have informed MrXXXX XXXX that we want nothing to do with him or his company and we are back with Ameris. When I sent him an e-mail severing our fraudulent relationship, he made a snide response " When they want your money to talk with me, let me know ''.
I am beyond baffled by this episode, and hope this is a rouge employee, and does not represent the company or the industry. Obviously, we want our money back as soon as possible so that it can be used in our real loan. We appreciate your assistance in this matter.
Our contact information is ; XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX Our Loan number with AmeriSave was # XXXX Mr. XXXX 's contact information is : XXXX XXXX Loan Originator NMLS ID # XXXX XXXX Mortgage Company NMLS # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX & XXXX XXXX, Texas XXXX Phone XXXX

Amerisave Mortgage took an application fee of {$500.00} saying that the could refinance my mortgage@ 2.5 % know what the income was prior to taking the {$500.00} application fee. Mortgage broker stated the underwriter was rejecting the application due to not enough income. I stated that my wife 's income could also be used.. broker asked what was her credit score. To this date I have not received anything stating from Amerisave or the underwriter why the loan application was denied.

On XXXX Amerisave Mortgage called us in regards to a VA IRRRL Streamline Mortgage Refinance loan. After they told us we could get a 2.75 % interest rate for the streamline loan we started the refi process. We then provided all documents which were uploaded into their system as requested. Then things went downhill. We waited 3 weeks and then reached out to our loan officer by email and voice mail but no response. Then after 45 days an underwriter called us and left voicemails but when we called back all we got was the underwriter voicemail. The underwriter never sent us an email so we could not respond via email. Then we had several online chat sessions and made a complaint that we were being ignored. The today, over two months later we received a NOREPLY email from Amerisave Mortage saying they could no longer process our refi. We DID NOT start this process, they did. They sent us a mortgage rate lock document and asked for many documents that we provided. Our credit score dropped because of this because they ran a hard inquiry. So all this effort on our part and now a lower credit score and have nothing to show for it, except that Amerisave Mortgage should be disqualified from doing VA loans. We are a XXXX XXXX XXXX veteran who does not need this total disrespect and unprofessionalism from any Mortgage Company. The Veterans Administration needs to Vet the mortgage companies that offer VA loans. When we purchased our home the other mortgage company was professional and timely. We logged into our account today XXXX and ALL documents we unloaded into their system have been deleted. So they are trying to hid the fact we provided many, many documents as requested.

I opened an application to refi my home on XX/XX/20. All financial and personal docs were delivered to the Amerisave on the very same day via their portal. I also paid the obligatory {$500.00} Application fee. After that, I never heard back from the Loan Originator and spent the next 63 days with zero to minimal information on my loan status. I was constantly sending emails but never getting any answers.
At day 63 from my original application, I reached out by text to my Loan Originator XXXX and he responded that since I applied online, his commission was really low and I was therefore not at the top of his list of priorities. ( Text images are attached ) I called customer service department the next day during working hours to inform them on what had occurred and to request a new Loan Originator or a refund of my {$500.00}.
The next day, I received a call from an AmeriSave VP named XXXX who then assigned a new Loan Originator named XXXX. I have never heard from XXXX although I have called several times and written several emails to try to complete my refi.
I called customer service again and was told they would pass the message along to XXXX the supervisor and XXXX the Loan Originator. There is no way to reach anyone of authority at this company that can help. Today is the next day and I have not heard from anyone at AmeriSave.
* AmeriSave Mortgage took my hard-earned {$500.00} * I am fully qualified and documented to close my refi * I can not reach anyone at AMERISAVE Mortgage to assist in obtaining even a simple update on the status of my account I * I am paying a hefty fee to do this refi and expect better service * There is no reason this file has been moving so slowly and without any clear communication from Amerisave.
* I do not need any Loan Originator to do me a favor, I am playing well for the service and expect professional behavior * I would like to speak with a Loan Originator to properly setup my Disclosure that is still incomplete If this is not possible, then I would like my fee refunded immediately The lack of professionalism and consideration of this Mortgage lender is beyond reprehensible and someone should take a closer look at this operation.

Mr XXXX from AmeriSave Mortgage has mislead me. The website said there was not application fee. I told them I was retired and on limited income. This was not a problem when they took my {$500.00}. Now they say they need employment verification. I have sent them the stuff and they keep asking for it over. XXXX XXXX in the XXXX office never responded to my emails. The original mortgage rate has changed and I am still waiting. It appears that because I am retired this is now an issue. I have been employed part time. Their story keeps changing. I feel like they took advantage of me when I asked why it said no application fee on the web site and I was being charged an application fee Oh you will get that money back then it was you will get it back when the mortgage is finalized. This has been going on since XX/XX/2020 2020

Due to improper account practices on Amerisave and the Loan Servicing Company XXXX My account shows as in default and has negatively affected my credit score.
The reason the payment went up in the first place to {$2600.00} was due to an accounting/paperwork error on AmeriSave 's part, in addition to taking 7 months to complete the deferral which legally AmeriSave was allowed 30 days, according to the CARES ACT. As a reminder, the deferral expired in XXXX of XXXX and was paperwork was completed on XX/XX/XXXX. We should not have to bear the financial burden due to this nor can we afford the payment of {$2600.00}. The {$2200.00} payment will be backdated from XXXX. Please provide me the legal paperwork that does not allow for this to happen with case law and FL statutes attached. This should be correct ASAP. The " payment '' for {$1500.00} is the amount missing from the Deferral Agreement that was offered by Amerisave, only {$8200.00} was applied to the account while a total of {$9800.00} was approved. See attached for XXXX statement with deferral amount and see Payment Deferral Offer Letter ( QRPC ) for a total approval of {$9800.00}. In addition, see the letter sent to the XXXX XXXX XXXX Case # XXXX from " XXXX XXXX ''.
Upon further review of my bank statements, I have found another discrepancy in account on XXXX 's behalf. Currently, there is at least {$2200.00} XXXX If using the monthly payment of XXXX starting XX/XX/XXXX ) or {$4100.00} XXXX If using the monthly payment of {$2200.00} starting XX/XX/XXXX ) missing from payments that have made to the mortgage. XXXX attached XXXX workbook. xls or pdf. This is in addition to the other items that were incorrectly handled by XXXX and the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. This should be corrected within XXXX hours to avoid confusion. I have attached the bank statements with this email up to XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint What Happened |
On XX/XX/XXXX I reached out to Amerisave Mortgage Company to refinance my home. I google some of the companies that had decent reviews and options that seem to fit my needs and began the process. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX credit inquiry reported Amerisave Mortgage Company pulled my to refinance my current mortgage. We started the process in late XXXX and I have still not completed the process of today XX/XX/XXXX, this is going on 3 months.
My credit was pulled 2 additional times after the first inquiry. I was told that I did not qualify for the first 2 options that were conventional loan. My only options would be FHA loan. I was originally promised that I would not need an appraisal and my initial payment would be refunded. Now I am told it will not be refunded or go toward closing but instead it was payment for the appraisal. I have been in my home for 3 years, it has increased in equity XXXX with not late payments of fees.
I provided them with all document and information as requested including XXXX, XXXX, banking and employment W2 's. I am being told now that 3 months during the XXXX pandemic when the world was shut down a gap in employment does not provide 24 months of employment history. I advised them of all this information early in the application phase via phone, email and web portal but continued to string me along now I am being told I need to bring XXXX dollars to closing and show proof of employment for those 3 months. There original attraction was no closing cost or appraisal fee which was part of the reason I applied with Amerisve Mortgage.
Currently I am out XXXX dollars for appraisal fee, XXXX dollars supposedly due closing cost, I am back into an FHA mortgage with PMI insurance. I have no closing date and they are still requesting employment history because of 3 months during pandemic. I have worked in construction industry for XXXX years and have never been late on mortgage or missed a payment including during the pandemic.
Technically I am paying for inadequate service with no result or end insight. I attempted to switch to another refinancing company but was told that would not change the outcome it would be the same issues because all underwriting have my information since I started the process with Amerisave and my options limited. Currently I like I am in an endless loop where the target continues to move with no end in sight. I have send email and required to speak to supervisors or underwriting ; No change or help with resolving my issues. This is completely unprofessional in my experience and do not know how to accomplish my goal o reduce payment and take advantage of lower interest rates.

|
Complaint What Happened |
I filed a previous complaint # XXXX. This complaint was apparently closed without proper research, no one apparently even bothered to look at the attached bills or contact the insurance company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, or XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Amerisave claimed in the complaint that the insurance policy was paid in full, it is not. In my opinion Amerisave must have relied of their obviously flawed closing documents, never even reading the attached bills.
I HAVE NOW RECEIVED A NOTICE OF CANCELLATION FOR MY HOMEOWNER 'S POLICY.
An escrow account was set up at closing, and I have continued to pay toward this escrow with every mortgage payment since.

Complaint What Happened |
Upon my first interaction with the Amerisave Mortgage Corporation, I was in contact with a person named XXXX XXXX - Loan Originator NMLS ID # XXXX. He explicitly explained the loan process to me upon our first conversation. Unfortunately, he left out a few key details that ultimately left my experience to crumble into a disaster.
XXXX failed to explain the application process. As a loan officer, all information should be readily available to the consumer. I applied for a mortgage refinance, and XXXX ran my credit to check if I would get approved. After running my credit, he gave me the good news that I was approved and that he needed {$500.00} immediately to start the application. I was told the {$500.00} was to apply. I went a long and handed over my credit card number. He then informed me later that an appraisal would come out to my property and to take pictures. I got my appraisal report and XXXX informed me that he can no longer accept me because suddenly my income to debt ratio was too high. He never informed of this before hand and this was a sudden shock to me because I was told that I was approved for the loan. I want to know why this company ( Amerisave ) would allow such a protocol to deny the customer after they've received the money. On the contract the appraisal was {$470.00}. I paid {$500.00} to the company. I want to know where the {$25.00} difference went to and If I should be compensated?
This is a standard scam to rip off customers who are trying to pay less interest on their mortgage. The loan officer hanged up on me and failed to follow up after I displayed my concerns about this to him. He would not hear another word from me after I asked him why he betrayed my trust into him?
This person and company needs to be investigated.

Complaint What Happened |
An application for refinance was submitted on XX/XX/2020 by Mrs. XXXX. A {$500.00} fee was paid to the loan officer who guaranteed an approval. The company has dropped the ball in several occasions and failed to keep an open communication with the consumer to let her know the status of the application. Consumer has done several attempts to contact the company to know about the status and calls/emails hasn't been received. Consumer would like to obtain a refund of this fee as the company has failed in innumerable occasions to follow through with the process impeding the consumer to continue with another lender. Another complaint was already issued against the company and they promised to better serve consumer through this process however, this hasn't occurred.

Complaint What Happened |
I was trying to refinance our XXXX in FL with AmeriSave. I was originally quoted a $ XXXX cash out refinance with and a buy down rate option. When I was sent the disclosures the Loan Officer, XXXX said he forgot to include the $ XXXX cash out but to sign the documents to get the loan started and he would make the amendment. I paid the {$500.00} deposit on XX/XX/2020, which was said to be refunded at closing. I then waited several weeks with no one returning my calls, I submitted documents they requested but could not get anyone to speak with or email me back.. I did continuously receive text messages from the company that were computer generated stating that if I needed help to reach out to my loan officer. After several weeks of no contact, XXXX finally called me to say the laws had changed and I could not get the $ XXXX cash out. I said okay then I do not want to move forward with the loan, please refund my {$500.00}. He said okay and let 's talk in the future if the laws change. I agreed and waited for my money to be refunded, which it never was. After multiple calls to XXXX he finally informed me my money would not be returned because an appraisal was conducted. I never received a copy of said appraisal nor would I accept this as the reason for not refunding the {$500.00}. The terms of the loan were never correct and I feel like I have been a victim of predatory lending and a bait and switch. I have called the company at least 10 times for help and no one will call me back.. I am asking to please have AmeriSave refund the {$500.00} to me immediately. Thank you.

Complaint What Happened |
I attempted to get a refinance mortgage. Amerisave charged me {$420.00} for an appraisal and then proceeded to send me inaccurate paperwork. They did this 3 times and when I told them I could n't sign inaccurate paperwork they closed my loan application saying I did n't respond. I have contacted them XXXX times and they are refusing to contact me back. I looked up Amerisave Mortgage and there was a lawsuit by the CFPB that Amerisave lost forcing them to pay a large amount of money for illegal practices such as this. Well, they still are doing so. I would like my money refunded.

Complaint What Happened |
On XX/XX/2016 I submitted an application online and finished it over the phone with XXXX at Amerisave Mortgage. At this time I told him that I had a 1st and a 2nd mortgage that I wanted to subordinated the 2nd mortgage to the new first and wanted to make sure that would be ok. He said that would be fine locked my rate ordered disclosures and collected the funds for my appraisal. XX/XX/XXXX I received my initial LE and no subordination fees were listed at this time. ( My loan was also priced incorrectly not listing my XXXX, which I did n't know at this time ) XXXX subordination paperwork was submitted via email and into Amerisave 's system. XX/XX/XXXX Appraisal came in lower than expected but new disclosures were generated with a rate adjustment for the difference. ( again priced incorrectly, did not know at this time XXXX XXXX new LE was generated with updated pricing showing subordination fees XX/XX/XXXX contacted Loan officer about the inaccuracies on LE, he said he would look into this and told me that he did n't have it priced with a XXXX mortgage being subordinated. XX/XX/XXXX email from LO stating his boss was looking into the incorrect fees but never heard back or received an updated LE. XX/XX/XXXX uploaded and emailed title work from the title company including a prelim CD showing the updated title company 's fees ( I still have n't received an updated LE on this either ) XXXX original subordination agreement was received by the title company and emailed to Amerisave processor XX/XX/XXXX Received an email from my processor at Amerisave stating that I had XXXX outstanding conditions, both items requested were emailed to her XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX I was informed that the information that was submitted on XX/XX/XXXX was n't enough and that it had been elevated to credit risk for approval. At this point I have processed my own loan and still have been given the run around. They have tried to charge fees that were well out of the three day window to redisclosue due to a change of circumstance and also did a bait and switch with my pricing, when it was fully disclosed at application that I was going to be subordinating my XXXX mortgage to the new first with Amerisave. Now that we are getting close to my rate lock expiring they are dragging their feet for my approval. Being a XXXX as my profession this has been the worst experience that I have ever been through, had this been someone that was n't familiar with the process it would have been even worse. At this point I feel that they are dragging their feet to deny my loan because of all the error 's that I have pointed out to them.

Complaint What Happened |
I am writing to formally request assistance regarding a {$500.00} nonrefundable application fee charged by AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation for a HELOC application that I cancelled on XXXX XX/XX/year>, within 3 days of applying. I believe the company 's refusal to refund this fee, despite the early cancellation, warrants reconsideration and potential review by the CFPB.
On XX/XX/year>, I applied for a HELOC loan with AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation and paid a {$500.00} application fee. However, after reviewing my financial options further, I decided to cancel the application and requested a refund on XX/XX/year>. I notified my mortgage banker who informed that that the application fee would not refunded. He cited Florida law, which allows for nonrefundable fees for completed applications. However, I believe this should not apply to my case, as the cancellation was requested almost immediately, before any final processing of the application was completed.
