I had a medical bill that I received back in XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$200.00}. This bill was paid XX/XX/XXXX. I received confirmation of my payment, and heard nothing else about this account. Then in XX/XX/XXXX, this account showed up as a delinquent account on my credit report across all agencies. The collections group, Paragon Revenue Group, said that they would take care of the mistake, but they did not.
I contacted XXXX, who took it down within two days and were very helpful. It took 3 tries to get XXXX to remove it. XXXX still refuses to remove it even after showing them proof multiple times that this account is not delinquent, and even after every other agency has removed it. I had a dispute on XX/XX/XXXX that they said they would not remove it, and another that was completed XX/XX/XXXX. I can't buy a house, I can't do anything with a new credit card, nothing that I wanted to because XXXX has ruined my credit score by keeping this incorrect information on my account.

I had XXXX at XXXX hospital on XXXX/XXXX/15 and received confirmation from my health card provider on XXXX/XXXX/15 that they provided payment in full. Since that time I have been contacted by XXXX, XXXX collection agency and now Paragon collection agency. Each time a new collection agency contact was made I provided the explanation of benefits to the company but Paragon is telling me XXXX XXXX XXXX explanation of benefits was incorrect ; I asked for proof that I owe the debt but they said that was not up to them to provide. This has now been credit reported by Paragon and my credit score has dropped by XXXX points. I submitted a complaint to XXXX and they came back and said Paragon states I owe and they closed my complaint. Again, no proof. What must I do to correct? I have never had any collection debts before and this has already resulted in me getting a letter from XXXX that they are closing XXXX of my credit card accounts.

XXXX told me that they tried to bill my car insurance instead of my health insurance. And since they messed up its too late to bill my health insurance and i have to cover it.
I feel : No. I do not owe it. If they didn't bill it properly thats their fault not mine. They can bill the insurance or erase the debt. Either way it needs to be removed from my credit report. It is not my responsibility.

I recently checked my credit report and noticed a two new accounts showing that doesn't belong to me. XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$3900.00}, And PARAGON REV in the amount of {$680.00}.
I spoke with someone over the phone for both accounts and they said that there was a medical debt in my name. I have no medical debt. I informed them that the debt was not mine. they told me to bad so sad. I then spoke to the hospital XXXX of XXXX and explained what was going on. I was once again turned away, telling me they don't care and i need to report this with someone else.
XXXX XXXX and PARAGON REV have violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC 1681 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A, States i have the right to privacy 15 U.S.C 1681 section 604 A section 2, States a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instruction 15 U.S.C 1681c. ( a ) ( 5 ) Section states no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information. Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than 7 years.
U.S.c 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) states a person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe the information is inaccurate.

I need this resolve, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, these disputed items may not appear on my credit report if they can not be supported by any evidence ( 1 ) In general No person ( company ) shall sell, transfer for consideration, or place for collection a debt that such person has been notified under section 1681c-2 of this title has resulted from identity theft.

( 3 ) Rule of construction Nothing in this subsection shall be construed to prohibit -- ( A ) The repurchase of a debt in any case in which the assignee of the debt requires such repurchase because the debt has resulted from identity theft ; ( B ) the securitization of a debt or the pledging of a portfolio of debt as collateral in connection with a borrowing ; or ( C ) the transfer of debt as a result of a merger, acquisition, purchase and assumption transaction, or transfer of substantially all of the assets of an entity.
A person that furnishes information to any consumer reporting agency shall have in place reasonable procedures to respond to any notification that it receives from a consumer reporting agency under section 1681c-2 of this title relating to information resulting from identity theft, to prevent that person from refurnishing such blocked information.

PARAGON REVENUE GROUP has a {$7300.00} hospital bill ( with XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, Florida ) which they posted as a NEGATIVE on my credit report in XX/XX/2022. Since this is the ONLY outstanding debt that shows on my credit reports, they have negatively impacted my credit. This medical bill was for an emergency room visit which my health insurance paid a lot of money on and I did not expect this surprise bill. I want Paragon Revenue Group to REMOVE this hospital bill debt from ALL credit reporting agencies. I never received an itemized bill from the hospital despite numerous attempts to acquire one. Please help and thank you.
