I was repeated called to collect the debt and made several statements about Deferment via Covid-19 Emergency Relief and Federal Student Aid. Their callers expressed no knowledge of deferment. When I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX about deferment they said that they have directed ECIS to conduct deferments. When I called again and expressed that I talked to XXXX XXXX finally an agent admitted they do have a process for deferment. I received an email and then filed deferment with them. Soon after I found out that my debt has gone to collections. I have no notice of deferment and have no idea whether it was processed or not.

I kept getting a statement and letter from this service, even though I have already asked them numerous times ( registered mails-to make sure they received my requests ), to please send me proof of the original contract, itemized, not a disbursement copy with my original signature on it. But this " Heartland ECSI '' with their account, " Covid-19, XXXXXXXX '' is completely ignoring my requests, instead, I kept getting notifications of payments with interest accumulation monthly. And also, this company kept sending this notice of payment to the wrong address. so, the resident of this address is literally upset and had already yelled at me because they thought that I have not changed my mailing address yet? Its been months, since I changed my mailing address ( XXXX of 2019 ) This situation is putting me on XXXX. The XXXX of the Corona Virus is enough for me to handle.
I don't know what to do? Please help?

In XX/XX/XXXX I closed my XXXX account where my XXXX loan payments were drafted automatically every month without any delay. At that time, I setup through ECSI 's website an automatic payment to be drafted from my XXXX account starting on XX/XX/XXXX even increasing my minimum payment of {$59.00} to {$81.00}. I noticed that my account was drafted on XXXX and assumed that I had setup correctly the automatic payments. On XXXX XXXX I received a call from XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) stating that the XXXX payment has not been received and I was due XXXX, XXXX and a fee of {$30.00}. Immediately, I called XXXX and spoke with a representative by the name of XXXX and explained him that I tried to setup through their website the automatic payments, and please go ahead to take my new XXXX account information where the monthly dues were to be drafted. He advised it had been done and starting XX/XX/XXXX at that time I went ahead and made a payment through the website for {$150.00} which represented XXXX, XXXX and the late fee. In XXXX XXXX I called again because I received another call and when I called back I spoke with XXXX. She advised that the XXXX payment was still missing and that I owed XXXX ( again ), XXXX ( in XXXX ) and another {$30.00} fee totaling {$210.00}. At that moment I requested automatic payments to stop thinking that XXXX had declined the transaction. I went ahead and called XXXX to ask for an explanation where they told me they had not received any request to debit my account from XXXX or XXXX. Then I called back to ECSI and was advised that they tried again to collect in XXXX from XXXX and could n't collected the payment ( even when I had specifically asked for that account to be removed from the system ) and that the payment I submitted of {$150.00} did n't cover the XXXX payment because it was applied to interests and I was due XXXX, XXXX and a fee of {$35.00}. Note that I have not been late since I started with this loan. I see this as a very unfair practice from this lender and I recommend the CFPB to look into this as they are collecting fees unfairly from their borrowers due to a mistake in the way their system is configured and poorly trained representatives. Such fee I have been advised twice that is not possible to be removed. I am supposed still to receive a call from a supervisor in XXXX business hours. I appreciate your time.

My loan for disadvantaged students and XXXX Loan was transferred to another company without informing me ( to ECSI ). My payment was overdue because I could not log into my account with my old lender. I finally find out the loan was transferred and missed a payment. Now my credit is damaged by no fault of my own. They will not help me. I had to pay many thousands of dollars or was threatened to put my loans in immediate default. I feel I am being mistreated by this process and have no XXXX on my side. Even as I try to pay they charge large processing fees.

ECSI called me in XXXX as they must have bought debt from XX/XX/XXXXand threatened saying if I did not pay this debt that they would sue me and ruin my credit.
ECSI reported my debt as being on a payment plan and even reported that I had made several payments this year which is false.
I disputed this with all 3 credit bureaus after investigation ECSI has now reported the debt to be deferred and that I begin payments in XX/XX/XXXX which is another lie.
ECSI is ruining my credit and reaging a XXXX year old debt by lying and threatening and ruining my XXXXredit score.

I was charged a {$6.00} " late fee '' for the month of XX/XX/XXXX, even though I paid my bill for the month of XX/XX/XXXX. When I called, the 1st agent told me the system was down so, XXXX couldn't see my account. So I hung up and called back immediately, I spoke to XXXX who then lied and said that I didnt pay in XX/XX/XXXXdo that is why in XX/XX/XXXX i'm being charged a 'late fee '' however I have records proving that I paid the XXXX bill right after the billing statement was sent. XXXX then hands the phone over to XXXX who then say that XXXX " misspoke '' and that the " late fee '' was because the XX/XX/XXXX payment was late. I further explained to him that ALL of my loan payments have been late and they have NEVER added a late fee because I always paid by the XX/XX/XXXX of the month. XXXX then tells me that it is company policy that after 10 days a late fee is added. I asked him where on the billing statement does it say that policy and where on the website does it say that policy? He says its on the website and " is basic knowledge '', I then ask him to tell me exactly where it says that " basic knowledge ''. After further review he comes back says it's not on the website and it is not on the billing statement but then says that on the billing statement that a late fee MAY be applied. However i explained to him if that was the case then there should've been a late fee every month because I've never paid the bill on time. His only explanation is that it was late so they added a " late fee '' even though it has always been paid late and never been given a late fee until now. this company has unwritten policies unbeknownst to the people they are billing and they are making up rules when they feel like to people they want to XXXX over. Also they generate their bill statements inconsistently. the bill statement for XX/XX/XXXX came 1 week before the bill was due and the bill statement XX/XX/XXXX came 3 weeks before the due date. Also the billing statement says it was generated on XX/XX/XXXX yet it says its 15 days past due. a bill CAN NOT be 15 days past due if you generated it on XX/XX/XXXX. They are liars and scammers.

XXXX XXXX has reported negative information on my credit report during a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX which caused a XXXX point deduction to my credit score. XXXX XXXX has continuously reported incorrect information to the Credit Bureaus even though the account is in XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX is reporting to the Credit Bureaus that a " Credit Line '' has been increased. This is false and is not a line of credit but a XXXX XXXX and the only thing that should be reported is an increase in interest. XXXX XXXX uses deceptive techniques to lure people into programs and does not use competent staff when applying for XXXX Loans. I now have two XXXX Loans with XXXX XXXX due to the negligence and miscalculations of a Financial Aid Staff Member XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ). XXXX XXXX has REFUSED numerous times to release final transcripts due to an unpaid XXXX XXXX XXXX. They have violated my Consumer Rights and I feel this situation needs to be remediated as quickly as possible.

I tried to pay off Loan B ( # XXXX ) completely but my payment was not applied correctly. I paid {$2000.00} on XX/XX/12 and was told that was done as that was the correct payoff amount. However, after checking my account the next day, they split the payment between Loan A and Loan B. I tried calling and was hung up on twice. After being on hold for 20 minutes, I was told that they had to look into that. Payment adjustment ticket # XXXX was issued, and that the interest would continue to accrue.

I have a private loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The total amount of the loan is {$9600.00} and I've been charged on the XXXX of each month since XX/XX/2022 currently having a total past-due balance of {$720.00}.
I was not informed that this type of loan was not covered under the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. As a result of not knowing this information, my account went into a past-due status and hit my credit twice. I made no arrangements to place this loan on a deferment had I known I would have taken the required steps to secure that this would not go into a past due status. I am still a XXXX XXXX and am currently submitting a deferment document to the lender. I called the current lender ECSI requesting copies of all the notices that were sent to me and was advised by a rep named ( XXXX XXXX that they have no way of issuing a copy of that information. I find that very concerning and feel that this could have been avoided simply by communicating and giving proper notice and explaining to me that it won't be covered under the XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and yet those original documents can't be provided to me.
The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq., is federal legislation enacted to promote the accuracy, fairness, and privacy of consumer information contained in the files of consumer reporting agencies. It was intended to shield consumers from the willful and/or negligent inclusion of erroneous data in their credit reports.

I was never late on the paid off account listed above please show me documentation showing proof of transactions showing I was ever late to support your inaccurate reporting on my account. If you can not supply this please delete this alleged late payment from my credit report. The FCRA allows 30 days for this to be rectified.

XXXXXXXX XXXX and their Servicer, Heartland ECSI.
My Principal payments and Interest payments have been changing every few months without me being notified. This resulted in late fees and damage to my credit scores.
I have called them and asked them why the price changes, which they claim is variable interest rates changing every 3 monthd. But my principal amount owed each month also changes seemingly randomly which makes no sense. In addition, my interest owed each month is also inconsistent almost as if it changes every single month.
I also asked them why I do not received emailed billing statements even though i signed up for it on their system, and they would not answer.
They also would not explain why my payment owed changes every single month. I had the account on auto pay, but the amount changing every single month without notice caused the account to fall behind and they charged me late fees. I am at a point where I'm scared of this account and have to check it every single day to make sure I don't owe some random amount.
On XX/XX/XXXX I had to pay {$910.00} because of this issue. When I called them, they said it was not their problem and they could do nothing and did not give any explanations It happened again On XX/XX/XXXX I had to pay a total of {$860.00} because of this issue. Then on XX/XX/XXXX another charge of {$40.00} was owed for seemingly no reason Then on XX/XX/XXXX, another {$44.00} was owed without explanation.
I've reviewed the charges on the account and the principal amount owed each month is never the same and the interest raises randomly without notice.
Their customer support would only tell me variable interest rates and not explain how my payments went from {$130.00} to {$510.00} in 6 months with only a 1.7 % interest rate hike during this time.
They are gouging money from me and pushing me towards the brink of bankruptcy without remorse or explanation. And then they change the amount without sending me statements and charge me late fees. My payments went from {$130.00} to {$510.00} in 6 months without any warning or notification between changes and I have been charged fees for every single late payment because if these random and unannounced changes.
I was even told I still owed {$800.00} when my account only showed {$59.00} owed and they would not explain this. I never receive billing statements at my email like I signed up for and I can only access the statements after the fact, at which point they are of no help.
